Transplanted into 3 gallon pot on Thursday
Mostly happy frog soil-1/4 fox farm ocean forest soil because I ran out I like to do 1/2 and 1/2 usually
3tbsp per gallon Gaia green 444
5-10 tbsp ewc
Low stress trained on Sunday 6/26
Tuesday- Been trying to leave this zkittlez alone and let it grow, so far it looks really happy so I’m going to start implementing some low stress training cautiously. Planning to top early next week
Sunday- went camping this weekend but made sure to water before leaving. Sunday the plants were dry and ready for water when I got back. I’m happy with this plants progressions and size considering it’s age
Topping next week, also veg tea next wek
Just watering when dry and bending branches, tucking leaves for light penetration
Light intensity will be increased throughout week from 45%-50%
Nutrients listen in week 2
Tuesday- topped the plant today, she’s starting to catch up with the other plants. Plant stems are noticeably sticky to the touch
Friday-forgot to take a picture before low stress training but the plant is happy(:
Daily tasks:
Just watering when dry and bending branches, tucking leaves for light penetration
Light intensity will be increased throughout week from 50%-55%
Nutrients listen in week 2
Yes I play music for the plants everytime I’m choring. About an hour a day
Week 5:
Scrog net arrived so I put it up, I plan to use it when the plants get a little taller. Probably within the next week or two
*Top dressing this week on 8/15-8/16*
Top dressing:
3 tbspn Gaia green 444
3 tbspn Gaia green 284
10tbspn Wiggle Worm Earth Worm Castings
Tuesday 8/13 - only leaf tucking today hoping to get some good height gains this week, most plants are getting bushy so I want those new branches to grow into their own.
8-18
Plant was heavily defoli
Daily tasks:
Just watering when dry and bending branches, tucking leaves for light penetration
Light intensity will be increased throughout week from 55%-60% and held there until flowering.
Nutrients listen in week 5
Week 6:
Tuesday- just leaf tucked today. Plants got defoliated Sunday so they got a little stressed and it pushed the water day one day back. No worries this was expected. Plant is getting some size
Friday 8/26- “super cropped” the lower branches. Plants are getting to my desired height now I want them to focus all their energy on the top sites.
Daily tasks:
Just watering when dry and bending branches, tucking leaves for light penetration
Light intensity will be kept at 60% until flowering.
Nutrients listen in week 5
Week 7:
Tuesday 8/27: transplanted today into 5 gallon pots
Sunday 9/1: (no tea this week, nutrients next week).
Its getting harder to take pictures and honestly I’m over the maintenance. Defoliated today and Flipping to flower so only 2-3 more weeks of serious canopy maintenance. These girls are going to be huge and I hope to have all the usable flowers above the scrog net.
The girls love the teas I give them. Always look bright and lively the following week. I’ve noticed a big difference in the trichome production when using the teas on my autos and will continue to implement them between top dressings to “super juice” the flowers.
Daily tasks:
Just watering when dry and bending branches, tucking leaves for light penetration
Light intensity will be kept at 60% until flowering.

Brew tea for all plants in tent 36-48 hours:
5 gallon water
40 tablespoons (Wiggle Worm) organic Earth Worm Castings
4 tablespoons organic unsulfured molasses
5 tablespoons Gaia Green 444
5 tablespoons Gaia Green 284
5 tablespoon Gaia Green Rock Phosphate
5tablespoon Down To Earth Kelp Meal
4 Tablespoons Down to Earth Alfalfa Meal
9/19-give tea
Added a second scrog net for the taller plants last Friday. Constantly defoliating to increase light penetration but not trying to stress the plants. (Selective leaf picking)
Plants loved the tea I have them last week. Visual improvements in every plant 2 days later.
Top dressing later this week on 9/29:
5 tablespoons Gaia green 444
5 tablespoons Gaia Green 284
15 tablespoon Wiggle Worm Earth Worm Castings
Light increased to 75%
Ive been batting heat climate in my tent all week but have dialed in the humidity to stay within my vpd range.
Temp is about 83-85 degrees and 60-70%RH
Some plants showing signs of cal-mag deficiency… I think. Ph has always been calculated and not ever been a problem. I will be addressing the issue cautiously, usually I just let cal-mag issues ride out till the end but I bought some calmag supplements to use sparingly.
Tea last Friday 10/11:
5gallons water
60 tablespoons Earth Work Castings
8 tablespoons Gaia Green 444
8 tablespoons Gaia green 284
4 tablespoon Gaia Green Rock Phosphate
5 tablespoon Down to Earth Kelp meal
4 tablespoon Down to Earth Alfalfa Meal
4 tablespoon un sulfured organic blackstrap molasses
Tea given 10/21 brewed for 48 hours: (distributed across 8 5 gallon pots)
5gallons water
60 tablespoons Earth Work Castings
8 tablespoons Gaia Green 444
8 tablespoons Gaia green 284
4 tablespoon Gaia Green Rock Phosphate
6 tablespoon Down to Earth Kelp meal
6 tablespoon Down to Earth Alfalfa Meal
4 tablespoon un sulfured organic blackstrap molasses
This is the last nutrients she will get, just watering for the next 2-4 weeks until she’s ready.
Light at 85%
End of week 9 from flip on 11/3
Just giving water the past 2 weeks. And these girls are starting to fade out nicely. Based on trichomes I’m expecting another 2 weeks
Trichomes are mostly cloudy but no amber anywhere except sugar leaves. So not fully mature yet
Lights increased to 90% and lowered 4 inches. I’m maxed out on power in my grow room during the 12 hours this big ass light is on.
Also dealing with some serious heat in the tent the past 2 weeks.. the swing function on my swamp cooler stopped working so it doesn’t push air into that side of the grow room. Around 80-88 degrees but I’m keeping the humidity relative to the vpd chart so all is well just annoying because of the humidity management
Thanks for reading! Check out some of my other plants with the same timeline, they will be part of this 5x5 grow and boast some serious colors and trichomes! As well as details on my process (:
11/10
Just watering this week and next week.
I’ve been defoliating the dead leaves and I can finally start seeing through the trellis net again. Nothing but stacked buds in my workable area.
The fade is finally starting to push through and these girls are developing some serious color and frost! Expecting 2 weeks until fully mature from this point
11/26- chopping the plants after 48 hrs of dark
11/24- start 48 hours of dark
Skipped last week updates because there wasn’t anything new going on.
As expected all these girls are mostly ready to harvest. I’m turning the lights off today.
It’s been a long and fulfilling learning experience with all the different strains in this 5x5 grow. With it being my first big grow I learned a lot and am a little attached to these plants. Some of these girls compete with the best bud I’ve ever grown and the density is unlike anything I’ve been able to create this far. Super grateful to have been able to work with these plants in completing their lifecycle.
Trichones have 5-20% amber depending on the plant and location. Opening the tent it smells like a musty fruity dank gas that slaps you and then dissipates into a relaxing fruity tropical vibe. These girls are ready.
I’ll post pictures of the buds when they are 1 month into cure (about when I start dipping into the stash).
Thanks to those who’ve followed along, this diary was created mainly for me to document my process so I may not be as thorough in the future we will see, I get a bit carried away with explaining. Everything I’ve done from the plants is documented so if you want to recreate or see the problems I struggled with take a look. Have fun grower, peace out ! ☮️
