Hi all, So the plants are both in their Week 8, the pistils are 50-60% brown...i took a look at their trichomes under an electric microscope (See the pics in my diary) and i cannot tell if they are still clear or milky yet! Any guidance would be appreciated!

In these pictures you have brown trichomes, and a lot of them are still clear, so you need to wait more and keep an eye on them

Hey, just knowing your in week 8 id say you have atleast few days more. The trichomes you can see only the top i guess are just reflecting some light, Trichomes you can see from the side look more glassy than milky. A good other indicator is the pistils, yes. When they curl in and are mostly orange/brown your plant is definetly in maturing and not pushing budsize anymore, otherwise you would have white fresh pistils. You definetly in the last 2 week range then and i suppose thats where you are, but i would give them atleast 1 more week. Dont hesitate and trust your eyes mate, you will see when pistills turn amber/get more milky. Happy Growing and harvest, you got this!👍

Hello kitchenfarmer, Your pictures are not clear enough to give a good answer. You want to wait till 80-90% from the pistils are brown and 10% from the trichomes are amber. Happy Harves Buddy! 💚
