@CRiSPrGrow, It was the last spray i made. I stopped when the buds started to forming. Kelp extract has a huge variety of different molecules like hormones, enzymes, vitamins, minerals etc. plus amino acids, but you don't have to care about amino acids since they can't be utilized by the plants when spraying. Amino acids need to be broken down first by enzymes ( synthetic enzymes or naturally produced enzymes by beneficial microbes ) in order to give nutrients to the plant (this process is called diamination). The reaction gives nitrogen in forms of mainly ammonia and ammonium (as far as i know) +something else depending from the amino acid and the enzyme. For example the amino acid tryptophan reacting with the enzyme triptophanase will give indole+pyruvic acid+Ammonia (NH3) . Indole is an essential substance for the Indolebutyric acid synthesis which is a plant hormone at the auxins category and the pyruvic acid can act as a PH buffer for the soil. 😉 That is the magic of organic growing ! 😎
