Sup fam, first grow, HUGE learning curve. The liberty haze will be my 2nd grow. Tried to pop 4 seeds to begin with and only 3 made it. So I tried for the 5th and that one didn't make it either due to a rookie mistake. The first light I bought for prop was a $40 LED from Amazon.ca and made the plants stretch horribly. Had a grab an emergency replacement for a day then switched to the sunblaster LED, wish I never cheaped out and wasted 4 days and stretched my plants. Using a heating pad under the tray. I keep the heating pad on all the time and the LED 20/4.

Ah time for the big boy lights. I don't have any experience but things seem to be going great. Could easily be a few days ahead if this was my 2nd time around but oh well, this is what we got and its not too bad. Plant #3 was way ahead for the first 2 weeks but is the runt of the pack now. Also, of course, #1 which was the runt is now the big boy after week 3. I started the plants on a very mild solution of nutrients using tap water which has a PPM of 198 so of the 320 PPM only about 122 is nutrients. Took lots of fussing about but I have fairly good control of my control of my environment now. Week 2 average under the cmh was about 22.5c and 63% which I am very happy with. Tons of air flow in the tent between the 2 clips on fans, 2 ultrasonic humidifiers and the main 4" intake fan.
Learning curve is huge, but the main thing I learned with many others is you will be punished for cheaping out, whether its the seedling light, humidifiers, fans, nutrients i'm sure but I bought hydro grade to begin with, the tent (omg the horror story from a cheap amazon tent, literally made me sick from the gasses, sore eyes, sore throat, coughing, lethargic, basically poisoning lol back it went). Just buy the right stuff to begin with or wait til you can afford it, dont waste money on crap.
A few more days and I will begin some training. Thanks for the help guys! If any noobies need some help feel free to ask! I cant give u professional advice but sometimes its nice to get some advice from someone else thats on their first grow, so hit me up if u need.

Week 4 Has come to an end and of course more rookie mistakes setting me back a few days but nothing big I don't believe. The rookie mistake this week was I should have waited maybe 12-24 hours longer before topping. So I ended up fimming. which I need to learn more about but I guess I'll learn first hand shortly lol I waited til the 5th node so I think I did that part right, and maybe I did not make a mistake really?? is the out come going to be the same as topping? the leaves have really grown and the nodes underneath have started growing which I dont think I want? a waste of energy? Other then this everything is going great, environment is staying constant and the plants seem to like the nutrients. I switched to rev os water so now all 415 ppm is nutrients. Maybe someone could enlighten me a little more on this fimming and the difference in out come from topping?
The CMH lights change the hue and messes with my phones camera going back between kinda yellow and the actual rich green, they do not look yellow at all with 2 being really rich green but one is slightly lighter

Hmmm what a week!! Learning curve is HUGE again but I love it!! Where to being.........I guess 3 things kind of happened at once. I attempted topping but ended up fimming, I under watered my plants, and a couple leaves got discolored. So after the topping I kind of panic'd when I saw I got all 3 nodes instead of one. After some research and some patience this turned out great and I plan on fimming instead of topping in the future if this plays out like it looks like.
The under watering.......well I naturally have a green thumb but after my cannabis research and countless people telling me DON'T OVER WATER!!! I ended up under watering my plants, after seeing drooping too often and then once so bad a few leaves resting right on the coco. Which I'm pretty sure caused my next panic attack.
The dis colored leaves. PH fluctuation? Nute Burn? Deficiency? PANIC! well It has no changed whatsoever in 5 days and I"m pretty sure it was the fact the leaves rested on the coco and got some nute burn that way. I could be wrong and someone suggested it could be thrips but nothing has changed and it was only the tips which where touching the coco that this happened. So then a few days of ease until next noob mistake. so disappointing and kind of embarrassing but hey I'm attempting a lot on my first grow and I'm pretty satisfied although I hold myself to very high expectations.
The mistake? I BROKE A NODE RIGHT OFF. You can see in one of the pics that in pure denial I've left the node where I broke it off in some hopes it might heal. most likely not and I should have tried to make a clone but inexperience is getting the better of me in this situation as well. That being said I will learn now what to do next time, which is? plz gimme some advice although I will definately be more careful in making sure the pulling is balanced.
I had 3 of node wired down and pulled a little too hard on it, breaking it from the main stem, it broke half way and when I panic'd the last bit broke off right where the branch meets the main stem. My guess is it will not heal so I might be topping this plant one more time a few days down the road.
BUT ALL THAT BEING SAID. MY PLANTS ARE HAPPY AF AND JUST STRAIGHT GIVEN'R BUBS. One plant is a runt but catching up quickly, one has a broken node but one is just great. Overall all 3 are great and cant wait for the next week. should be transplanting into the 7 gallon pots soon and setting up the net in about a week is my guess. cant believe how fast they are growing! once again thanks to everyone for the help and to those following along. I wish giants buds on all!

Very happy with how things are going. only thing i'm considering is how far to keep the net off the coco. right now its 8.5-9 inches but thinking maybe lowering it half inch or so. My tent is 7' the pots are 12" i want to keep the lights about 2'?? from the plants and 1' from the ceiling. so that gives me roughly 3 feet for my ladies if i'm correct. so if I keep the net 9 inches off coco I would need to flip the plants after they have filled the net and grown through about 6 inches if my stoner math is correct. and that gives me about 2 feet 3 inches of canopy that will be flowering. does this make sense to someone with experience as i'm really lacking the experience here and am just guessing at what kinda makes sense logically lmao. other then this i think they look great and everything went smoothly this week as well

Another smooth sailing week. The ladies are growing nice and fast and looking so healthy. The thought on my mind this next week coming up is going to be when to start flowering. My guess is 3-4 days as they are growing so fast I plan to flip it when the net is almost full and then tuck for a week into flower, should fill the net and grow around the outside nicely. would like to leave some room around the outside to have some air flow and such. Also if the 4th plant survived the germination process the tent would definitely be full but I'm thinking at some point theres gonna be a trade off of the buds getting too small and the actual harvest going down. could be wrong tho i'm not sure. either way should be flipping in a couple days and almost certainly before the next post.
I love the fresh smell of the tent, just awesome. not overwhelming like cannabis yet, just fresh plant smell.
Another thought here is i'm gonna take a couple weaker nodes that are struggling to make the canopy and try to make some clones for my buddies in the dome with the sunblaster so well see how that goes.
The pictures are starting to not do the ladies justice and I wish the CMH didnt mess with the lighting so much, the lighting in the basement is that great but I'm trying to upload some quality pictures.
thanks to anyone and everyone whos been following along, helping out and chatting.

Another great week! The ladies are healthy and loving life. Some big changes this week as well.
Some pretty decent defoliation occurred as these girls are growing very dense and thick. I have the scrog nicely cleaned up below the net with some great air flow and the canopy is nice and even.
Next big change is.....the switch has been flipped! Thats right these ladies are in day 2 of transitioning to flowering. The net is fairly full and I'm pretty happy with the size of the canopy, roughly 100ish colas should be forming. Which is why I flipped before the net was full. My gut tells me with a 7 gal pot I could probably limit the growth of the plant and there should be a trade off when the total yield starts getting smaller if I try to veg them too much. This could be wrong but I'm still happy with the size of the canopy. The tent is 5.5' x 5.5' so pretty big canopy to try and fill with 3 plants.
The main stem on the plants is just massive, pretty impressive indeed. I'm not too sure with what to expect for bud size and harvest but i'll throw out a guess of 18oz dried total. My goal is 22% thc in the end as i'm going to be getting the bud tested.
I got a couple of treats for the ladies this week and one for myself. Some co2 that I'll start using in 10ish days to really help put some weight into the buds and some TERPINATOR to really bring out that pineapple smell and cake the plant with some resin. The treat for myself? A new Reverse Osmosis system to end my almost daily trips to get purified water. The white dust put off by the humidifiers even with new filters in them in a NIGHTMARE. Clogs up the exhaust filter and causes so much grief. Currently I was buying purified water just for the nutrients as to not waste PPM on city water minerals but now I can use the system to end my white dust nightmares from the humidifiers (which although have been turned down greatly as time progresses).
Thanks again to whoever has been following along and cant wait to hopfully have some pics of my first buds forming! SO EXCITED! Been waiting 18 years for this, seems surreal.

Flowering has begun 😁😁 8 days have passed since the flip and bud sites are starting to form. The week went fairly smooth with the exception of a smart plug failure 😡😡 not sure what the issue was as its working fine again and wifi was on and working fine but oh well, the plants got 6 extra hours of light one day but i gave 6 less the next and got the light sched back to normal asap. The girls look very healthy and I am extremely excited to start seeing some buds form and that famous pineapple smell.
The RO system is doing its job getting the city water down from 198ish ppm to only 9. This solved the 2 issues and I am very happy I dont have to deal with the white dust EVERY WHERE, including outside the tent. I highly recommend this system.
I tucked right up until yesterday which I thought I was done with the tucking but I felt they needed a little more. The center is pretty much maxed and growing to much to spread out the edges any more really. should have spaced out a little more from the center. The net is pretty close to full and some branches are on the outside. pleased overall but would like to improve on round 2 of course.
Thanks for following along fam.

Hey guys,
Great week! Nothing too much to report here. Things seem to be going great........the stretch is coming along nicely, about 8 inches since flip. The signs of buds forming is there and I can spot some tiny crystals forming near the center 😁 Started using the flower nutes this week as well. Today I will start using the co2 and terpinator. Also I was recommended to try a 2nd net as well for some support which from what I've read these buds can get quite big.
The clones I cut a couple weeks ago are ready for friends. I learned from quickly from some rookie mistakes and greened them right up along with lots of new growth, they are nice and healthy as well. go spread the happiness to others!!!
I did do another quite big defoliation that really cleaned up all weak branches and leaves. only the strong survived. no wasted energy.
This is where the fun really begins as I can now get to watch the buds grow!! 😲😎
Thanks again for following along, this has been a very exciting journey so far and now it really begins!!

Day 23 of flower, 50ish remaining.
Alright, another smooth week 😁 Got some sugar forming on the leaves that looks pretty and is getting me excited 😁 I started using the Co2 this week as well as the terpinator. Might invest in an oscillating fan to help distribute the co2 better. Got some colas forming (I counted very roughly 75ish main colas). The leaves also really have that distinctive sativa appearance. The trash basket to hang the co2 is a great idea if your thinking of one in the future. Not much of a smell really yet.
I DO have one question this week tho. Should I do a little defoliation on some of the lower fan leaves as its getting quite bushy in there again but I dunno if I should mess around with the buds forming now.
Thanks in advance for the help and thanks for following along fam, I really enjoy the chit chattin about the ganja.

Day 92
Day 30 Bloom
42ish days remaining.
Pour some SUGAR on meeeee.........wowzers the sugar is really starting to cake the sugar leaves now. Got tons of healthy bud sites forming and the smell is just delightful. Did another decent defoliation to keep all the buds site in the light. Keeps it nice and clean with great air flow. Speaking of air flow I added an oscillating fan to keep the air moving under the canopy better.
There is a problem forming that I'll need to take care of this week. Another purchase?? 😡 lol
De-humidifier......the humidity is very slow starting to raise. I started with 2 humidifiers on full, then 1 on full, then 1 on min for a bit then no humidifier and now its starting to raise with no humidifier so I'm gonna need to deal with this asap as it will become a very big issue in the future if I let my girls get moldy, but no chance I would let that happen! so i'll be on the search for a decent used one this week or purchase a new one unless I learn something new here, which I probably will.
A question this week too. about Harvest. mayb 2 questions. So I hear alot of tricks regarding harvest. 24-48-72 hours of darkness before harvest then cut them in the "dark" meaning dont let the bloom lights come on again before harvest. different flush times and so on. what works best for you guys?! I'm thinking 7 day flush since thats why my nute sched says and it hasnt led me astray yet. I'm considering doing a tiny mid bloom flush reccomended by a friend, i like the idea to give just pure water for 1-2 days and kind of give the plants a break from the massive ppms i'm putting them through although I might skip this step if not needed either.
2nd part of the question, if the flower time for this strain is 70-75 days, I realize I should harvest when most of the tricones are milky and some clear with very little to no amber ones. but if I flush for a week before harvest, how do I know when to start the flush, how long is my harvest time frame for maximized potency. I'm guessing with experience I'll be able to know my girls and say yup harvest is x days out but for this one not too sure.
40ish days til harvest is bittersweet, feels so long but part of me loves it, how big can/will these buds get with another 42 days!
Thanks again friends for following, this week the sugar came now I wanna see the weight really start being packed on.

PINEAPPLE SURPRISE😵😵
well not really, I've been kind of waiting lol it definitely reeeeks in the tent now and shows just how good this carbon filter is working! The smell is very unique to any other cannabis i've smelt although I'm curious to find out what it will smell like after proper curing. I hope it tastes as good as it smells too.
The resin is just incredible, I cut a couple nodes that were really struggling and even with moderate resin and crystals compared to other colas they made my fingers incredibly sticky, i get the whole gorilla glue thing a little better now. I cant believe how you can see the trichs so clearly with the naked eye and the bulbs look huge. pocket scope arriving today, interested in seeing the trichs under scope. I've done a little defoil here and there to keep good air flow and light pen. Again when doing this my fingers soooo sticky, normal to most of you i'm sure but new to me!
No real issues. I noticed some more tips discolored so I dialed back the nutes a little to about 1700, I'll keep around there for now. I dont expect the plants to grow much taller if at all but hopfully these buds keep plumping up. The fattest few buds are HUGE but even just the average size is really starting to swell. Do the buds keep swelling for a couple more weeks? hope so lol
If anyone has their own tips for harvest and curing they wanna add in comments I'm all ears. Some great advice down there already, amazing mates!
Something I have started considering is what strain to put outside in a couple months, auto or photo, probably both and compare them. Have a couple ideas I wanna try out, have a little fun, 4 plants going outside end of may. Thinking I will start vegging new plants right after and hopfully get the plants about a month old before I send them outside into the wild. But thats a different discussion all together then this lol
Hopfully its smooth sailing the next few weeks here. I'm ok with this routine for a little. I'm at a cross roads with my excitement as I cant wait for harvest but right now they keep plumping and swelling so much I dont want them to stop lol also I dont think there is anything more peaceful and calming then getting just stoned AF and and staring at these beautiful ladies. Its so fitting that the tent is my temple of peace and i'm growing a strain called buddha.
As always thanks for following along and hopfully the great discussions continue below. Until next week, cyaz! 👊

These ladies started standin with a gangsta lean.
A few of the colas are starting to lean, just awesome!
another fairly routine week with the exception of my pocket scope arriving. took some practice but i'm getting better at focusing on the trichs.
Some of the buds are getting some red hairs but a couple have alot of red hairs and one bud actually has some amber trichs if i'm not mistaken. most of the trichs are clear and some milky. With 25 -30 days until harvest. Shouldnt they all be clear?
Hitting the homestretch here I can't believe harvest is only 4 weeks away after all this.
also I'm blown away by the crystal on these ladies. its insane! the smell is crazy strong now too in the tent.
I'm considering whether I should buy one more bag of co2 for 2 more weeks. REALLY fatten these buds up. So i'm thinking I'll scoop some of that and some yoyos in the next day or 2.
Happy growing guys and gals! thanks for following along, enjoy the convos as always. 🙌👊

WOW the colas are getting just crazy but the branches are starting to lean too much for my liking so I'll have to deal with that ASAP! Been crazy busy this week so didnt get to chat much with the fam but I'll be back to routine this week.
A few of the lower leaves have some color fade which startled me but i'm guessing is ok as were nearing the flush here. one leaf is really messed up that i cut off. in the pic u can see the messed up leaf but also an overhead shot shows where the yellowing is happening. Other then that I think things look great?!?!
One cola is just friggin massive, specially for a 80% sativa. About a foot long and damn near pop can size. trying to think of anything I will need to buy for harvest. anything I might have not thought of? i'm gonna get a small mayb 2x2 tent for drying that I'll rig up with many poles running across so that would work. mayb an exhaust fan with carbon filter? or just an oscilating fan at the bottom with the top vents open and call it a day??
EDIT: WOW!!!! Today was the first time I've ever seen the true color. I was there ready right when the main light turns off waiting with the LED sunblaster to see and wow i'm just amazed how green and beautiful these ladies are!! I thought the cmh was off a little but i didnt realize they were so pretty!! You can easily tell which 4 pics are with the sunblaster light

so close to flush!!!! OK so I think everything is going great! I'm guessing/ hoping the yellowing leaves is just the plant nearing the end. Though why is just the one plant starting to yellow already?
Had to use about 12 yo yo's to help the leaning buds. Some of these poor branches are barely holding on under the weight hahaha
Gonna get a little 24x24x48 drying tent. I'll move the carbon filter there for a couple weeks. wont need it in the big tent for a few days.
Hope I'm not forgetting anything here. I'll go over the comments I'm sure its in there, but if its not, how do I know when to start the flush??! and do you only give water? I use RO, do you check the PH and adjust that and thats it?
You can see in a couple pics the plant on the right is much shorter and the colas are all rounded. weird.
My plan for harvest. was planning on using that drying tent...... with a osculating fan at the bottom? or not needed? At harvest I was gonna cut off branch, trim the fan leaves only then hang upside down in the tent. trimming the sugar leaves after drying before curing. All G??

WOW! lol they keep plumping up. most have slowed down but some of the colas are still noticeably growing.
The plant on the right is quite a bit different then the other two. much shorter and has different looking colas. much more rounded. Also this plant has lots of white hairs on the main colas. Is this a sign they are still growing? how come the other 2 only have a few white hairs and this one is loaded. another distinction is that this plant hasn't really started fading yet. it has a few purple leaves but doesnt have the fade like the other 2? weird? why this plant so different.
I'm quite nervous still but its all good, its just because its foreign to me. most the trichs are clear but theres a growing number of milky ones and the odd amber one. this is for the top colas i've been watching.
I'm stoked to see the harvest. theres 24 yo yos in there holding up these massive colas!
The flush should be any day now. I'm still confused as to know when i'm a week out and to start the flush?!? I understand harvest is when mostly milky with a few clear and amber. I cant believe the crystals on these ladies. its absolutely insane! also sticky as all hell, amazing!
I'm very excited, the big day is coming up very quick
Thanks again for following along and helping to make this grow what it is, let finish strong! 👌👊👊

wow! not really much to say! the end is so close! Picked up some flawless finish to assist with the flush. the buds looks just amazing and the excitement and anticipation is killing me!! This feels like the calm before the storm.
Seeing quite a few clear trichs still with hardly any amber but mostly overall they are milky so i know i'm close. a rough estimate would be like 35 60 5 clear milky amber.
Thanks again! cant wait to post the harvest.

WOW!!!!!! I did it!! or should I say WE did it! I cant believe I turned 3 little seeds into just over 27oz, theres a little not in the jars...... I'm just blown away by the look of this cannabis. For a sativa this looks just incredible!!! The crystals are just CAKED and handling just the slightest caused the worst sticky fingers.
I have learned to incredibly much my first grow I'm very excited to put my experience to use on the 2nd round here. Which will be all AUTOS!!! This should be fun indeed.
Shout out to the fam (you know who you are) and thank you so very much for all the help and taking the time to comment. There's so much info in this diary I'll be referring newbies to it for sure in the future as a reference.
I'll update in about a month when the true smoke report comes but I cant wait to post this!!!
THANKS EVERYONE WWOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT WOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTT🙌🙌👏👏👊👊👊😵😵😵
