thoream At first, I noticed I had way too little light, and I saw some spindly growth right away. Now I have a better lamp and a lux meter, so I've set the right distance, and now the little flowers are growing nicely. They're only 8-10 cm tall, and I think the poor lighting really set everything back, which annoys me. But I think it could work now. At least new leaves are forming; the others are dark... otherwise, I'm open to any tips.

thoream They are still quite small, there hasn't been any change in height so far. However, leaves have grown. I've been watering every 3 days and increased the light intensity from ~7,000 to ~10,000 Lux. Let's see if that helps.

thoream I've switched to interval watering. Before, I always dumped the whole amount into the soil at once, but now I water about a third, take a break for about 20 minutes, then another third. So watering now generally takes about an hour, but it seems to be working better this way. Yesterday, when I opened the tent, a bunch of mosquitoes came flying out, a lot of mosquitoes. I immediately bought and hung up yellow sticky traps. Today there were already fewer mosquitoes, but there were only about 10 or 12 on the traps. When the tent was open, the mosquitoes flew out; they didn't seem very interested in the plants. In any case, I didn't notice any damage or anything like that on the plants in the close-ups. Lucky me?

thoream After the leaves started turning brown, I did a "flush." With a big watering can, I poured a lot of water into the pots until it ran out the bottom. I have drainage in there. And now the little flowers are getting nice and bushy. One of the plants is still worrying me a bit because one leaf is yellow and the tip is brown. So today I gave it some nutrients and another good portion of water. So, keep your fingers crossed!

thoream The length growth hasn't been that strong in the past week, but the little flowers are slowly getting bushier. Starting today, I will begin Low Stress Training and carefully tie down the branches. I'm using regular tape and a few earth hooks from the 3D printer. Let's see how far they can bend. There's still a fan in the tent for circulation and to help thicken the stems. That has worked pretty well, even though the fan only runs a few hours a day. I initially underestimated the noise level; the fan and the ventilator are quite loud together, and watching TV is somewhat limited. Another problem is that the plants are relatively high out of the soil; the first leaves are a bit far from the ground, otherwise, I could have just used the hooks. But this should work too. The tape is applied carefully so that there's as little tension as possible. I'm curious, keep your fingers crossed.

thoream I couldn't choose my fertilizer, but I've been fertilizing once a week with tomato fertilizer from the hardware store. Otherwise, the growth is crazy; the ladies are getting bushier every day. They've also started to smell a bit, and I really like the scent. A typical light cannabis smell with a hint of fruitiness. This week, a little tenant also moved in; no idea where it came from. A red spider mite must have gotten lost, and before I could identify it, it passed away. Well, it happens. Otherwise, there are no pests around. I'm really curious to see how things progress in the coming days. I've started LST and bent the lower branches down a bit so they get more light. I won't do HST since I've already lost at least a week due to improper lighting, and something should start happening soon.

thoream This week without nutrients and just with water. The ladies are getting really thirsty, they need half a liter a day already. I did a bit more LST, lightened things up a bit. Since they are now in pre-flowering, I didn't want to mess with them too much. Every day I can hang the light higher so they still have a distance of 30cm. Tomorrow I'm adding another light since they are getting too bushy and the tent (apparently) isn't bringing much light to the other side of the plants. I've turned both of them every now and then, but there's still room for improvement.

thoream Even though I didn't really want to trim, I had to get in there. Leaves were overlapping the buds, everything was getting too bushy, 70s style. I tied it down further, removed a few leaves, and now a deficiency is showing that suggests the water's pH level is too high. The tester and pH drink are coming on Monday, I hope it gets sorted out quickly. The full bloom should be reached soon.

thoream This week, the usual scent finally started to emerge a bit. Until now, both smelled more like tomato plants. Unfortunately, a calcium and phosphorus deficiency has set in, which is due to a high pH value after successful measurement. It was at 8.3, and now with pH- I've brought it down to about 6.2. Calmag now has to show what it can do. I hope to reduce the necrosis on the leaves with this.

thoream pH- and Calmag, as well as phosphorus fertilizer are ready to go, but I probably won't be able to get rid of the strange spots. At least there are still good trichomes present, and the scent is increasingly taking on the typical cannabis note. Let's see if this has a negative impact on the harvest and results..

thoream After the defoliation, there was a standstill for a day. But then, thanks to good watering, many trichomes formed, and the sugar leaves are already brown. There aren't many on the buds yet; they're still mostly clear/cloudy. I think it needs another week, then after months, it will finally be time.

thoream It's slowly coming to an end. The trichomes are about 10% clear, about 70% milky, and about 20% amber, so I'm slowly preparing for the harvest. I found some information on bud washing, very interesting. Even though I'm growing indoors, I will wash the buds anyway, if only to remove any environmental residues and possibly small hairs. I wouldn't want to inhale that kind of stuff. Officially, the growth time until harvest is stated as 8-9 weeks. Due to a few beginner problems, it's been dragging on, but I estimate that next week should be the time. Strange that it's moving so slowly now.
