🌱 First week of my cannabis growing adventure with autoflowers! 🌟
As a newbie, I'm diving into the art of low stress training early on because autos have a shorter grow period and I'm curious to see how far I can push the limits. Just experimenting and gathering valuable experience in this rapid growing phase! 📚
✨ Planted in light mix soil with added worm castings in fabric and plastic pots to compare outcomes. Exciting times ahead! 🚀
Second Week / 15. - 22.05.24
🌿 Week 2 of my grow and my little green friends are thriving! 🚀 Strong leaf growth this week, just sticking to watering with plain water as it's still early days—no nutrients added yet. 🚫💧
Everything's running smoothly and the autos are showing promising vigor. Loving this journey so far, fingers crossed for more lush growth ahead! 🤞🌱
Third Week / 23.05.24 - 29.05.24
This week marked the introduction of BioBizz Grow nutrients to our water regimen—just 1ml per liter. Keeping up with the Low Stress Training to gently guide the plants' growth without overstressing them. 💪🌱
We're watering only when the top 2-3 cm of soil dries out, pushing a bit more this week to encourage deeper root development.
Everything's going smoothly so far! 🌿💧
Fourth Week / 30.05.24 - 05.06.24
This week was all about growth and transition! 🌿 We measured the plants, observing how tall they’ve gotten, and they’re looking healthy. 📏
Towards the end of the week, the first pistils appeared, signaling the beginning of the flowering phase. 🌼
Increased BioBizz Grow to 2ml per liter to support their needs during this critical stage. 🌱💧
Continued with our watering schedule, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings to promote strong root growth.
Fifth Week / 06.06.24 - 12.06.24
The fifth week brought more exciting developments in the grow room! 🌱
We installed the SCROG net, ensuring better light distribution to the budding sites and helping manage the canopy. 🕸️
Introduced BioBizz Bloom at 1ml per liter and maintained BioBizz Grow at 2ml per liter to support their nutritional needs as flowering progresses. 🌼🌿
The plants look healthy and vibrant, with no defoliation needed yet. Everything's going smoothly, and I'm thrilled with their progress! 🚀
Sixth Week / 13.06.24 - 19.06.24
Week 6 continued with smooth growth and development! 🌿 Focused on optimizing light exposure to each bud site using the SCROG technique, ensuring all buds are getting the attention they need. ☀️
The pistils are looking healthy and vibrant, showing promising signs of robust flowering. 🌼
Excitingly, Apollo F1 is already starting to develop its first trichomes, a sign that things are progressing well. ✨
Everything is on track, and the plants are thriving in their environment. 🚀
Seventh Week / 20.06.24 - 26.06.24
Week 7 went mostly smoothly, with the plants continuing to flourish. 🌿 Towards the end of the week, Apollo F1 started showing some nutrient deficiencies. 🌱
To address this, I adjusted the nutrient mix by adding BioBizz CalMag and increasing Bloom nutrients to 2ml per liter to ensure all plants receive adequate support.
Despite these minor issues, all plants are looking strong and healthy overall. Looking forward to seeing more development in the coming weeks!
Eighth Week / 27.06.24 - 03.07.24
Week 8 was smooth sailing with no major issues to report! 🌿
We've settled into a good rhythm with nutrients: 2ml BioBizz Grow, 0.5ml CalMag, 2ml TopMax, and 2ml Bloom per liter. 🌱
Watering every three days or so, and it seems to be working well for the plants. The deficiency in Apollo F1 has improved, and the Cookies Gelatos are now developing trichomes on the sugar leaves, indicating good progress in resin production. ✨
Everything's on track, and the plants are looking vibrant and healthy!
Ninth Week / 04.07.24 - 10.07.24
Week 9 was smooth with no major issues—everything’s going great! 🌿 Whenever the sun was shining, I took the opportunity to put the plants out on the balcony for some direct sunlight. ☀️
Kept up with the 18-hour light schedule indoors and continued watering every three days. 🌱💧
The plants are looking healthy and vibrant, making steady progress in their growth and development. Loving this journey! 🚀🌼
Tenth Week / 11.07.24 - 17.07.24
Week 10 was similar to the previous one, with steady progress and a few adjustments. 🌿
The Cookies Gelatos started showing signs of nutrient deficiency, drawing nutrients from the leaves. To address this, I increased the nutrient dosage by 0.5ml for all except CalMag, which I increased to 0.75ml per liter. 🌱
The plants seem to be responding well to the adjustment, and the buds are slowly swelling, especially on Apollo F1. Everything’s progressing nicely! 🌼🚀
Eleventh Week / 18.07.24 - 24.07.24
Week 11 saw no major issues, with all buds appearing healthy and vibrant. 🌿 White pistils continue to form across the plants, with some swelling significantly. 🌼✨
The nutrient regimen was adjusted back to 2ml per liter, and we’re maintaining the schedule while observing further development.
Everything is progressing smoothly, and we’re eagerly watching the buds mature. 🚀
Twelfth Week / 25.07.24 - 31.07.24
Week 12 progressed smoothly, with the exception of continued nutrient deficiencies in the Cookies Gelatos. 🌿 These signs indicate that the plants are nearing maturity. I’m now regularly checking the trichomes to determine the optimal harvest time. 🔍✨
Despite the deficiencies, all plants appear healthy overall, with bud structures continuing to swell.
The Cookies Gelato is developing more pistils than Apollo F1, but Apollo’s buds are denser and have a strong aroma. 🌼🚀
Exciting times as we approach the final stretch!
Thirteenth Week / 01.08.24 - 07.08.24
Week 13 brings a more autumnal feel to the garden, with all plants except Apollo F1 showing signs of nutrient withdrawal from the leaves. 🌿
Apollo F1 remains lush and green, with no signs of pulling nutrients yet, so I’ll hold off on any changes there as long as the plant looks healthy. 🌱✨
The Cookies Gelatos are maturing nicely, with leaf tips turning a lovely shade of purple, adding to their beauty. 🍁
I’m reducing the nutrient levels as we approach the end of the cycle, watching the plants closely to determine the best harvest time. 🚀
It’s a waiting game now as we let nature take its course.
Week 14 – Harvest Time (9th August 2024)
🌿 The big day finally arrived on the 9th of August—harvest time! Everything went smoothly during the chop. There wasn’t much trimming to do, just a few dead and drained leaves that had been cannibalized by the plants as they matured. 🍂
💨 The buds were hung up in my DIY drying box to start the curing process. Unfortunately, the temperatures in the drying environment were a bit higher than I would have liked, which may have muted some of the more potent aromas. Nonetheless, the process is going well so far.
And now, onto curing and enjoying the final product!
Week 14 – Harvest Time (9th August 2024)
🌱 Cookies Gelato I & II took center stage this week! The big chop happened on the 9th of August, and everything went smoothly. 🍃 Just a few fan leaves were removed, but overall, I left the plants mostly intact, hanging them whole in my DIY drying box to start the curing process.
💨 The drying process has been fairly smooth so far, though the temperatures in the drying environment were a bit higher than ideal. I’m hoping this didn’t affect the overall aroma and potency too much
