Put 2 of each seed in damp paper towel Friday morning (09:30 - 26.07.24) on a plate and with another plate on top to keep light out and keep the seeds in a more consistent environment. 1 of each popped a little tap root on Saturday, but slower than I expected. Waited until Monday evening, taproots were between 1-2cm, with the small micro roots/white hairs visible. The other 2 seeds still showed no signs of tap roots. Put them back in the paper towel to see if a miracle will come.
Planted the 2 germinated seeds into 2 coffee cups with holes poked in the bottom. Used a soil I got off amazon that is about 50% coco coir (I think). I figured the BioBizz All Mix might be a bit hot for the new seedlings. Planted them tap root down, with the seed about a centimetre below the surface. Wet the soil all the way through, and then covered the cups with Frischhaltefolie with little holes poked in it.
