Week 6 Flowering Update: A Challenging Week Welcome to my Week 6 flowering update! This week brought some unexpected challenges, but I’m relieved to say that things are looking better now. **Bud Rot Scare** Unfortunately, I had to be away during the hottest weekend of the year, and when I returned, I found the early signs of bud rot on my plants. It was disheartening to see, but I took immediate action and disposed of all the affected flowers. Fortunately, after a thorough inspection, I haven’t seen any further signs of bud rot, so I’m hopeful that the issue has been contained. **Flushing Begins** This week also marked the beginning of the flushing phase. No more nutrients for the plants—just plain water from here on out. The goal is to clear out any remaining nutrients to ensure a clean and smooth final product when it’s time to harvest. Despite the setback, the rest of the plant is looking strong, and I’m cautiously optimistic as we move closer to harvest. I’ll be keeping a close eye on things to ensure there are no more surprises.
