1st time growing

10 days since they popped out of the soil. All 3 plants are healthy and happy. The runt is still lagging behind the others quite a lot though. The largest of the 3 has been leaning a bit. Not stretched from light issues, as I have it set correctly, but I think it's leaf mass is just too large for its stem currently. I corrected this by propping the stem back to a vertical position by supporting the leaning side with some soil. They were 95% dry yesterday, so I am gave them a watering, which should last a few days. I am using FFOF soil, so no nutrients needed at this stage. However I did decide to add half the recommended dose of CalMag+ to this watering in order to promote strong cell wall development while they are bulking up their stem. After doing some research, it seems like FFOF is slightly lacking in what CalMag offers, so a small dose should fill that need. I am hoping it helps my largest plant stabilize under the weight of its more rapid growing leaves. The middle plant seems to be my Goldilocks (I guess thats her name now lol), as she has what I consider an optimal stem height, straight as an arrow and growing thicker, while growing leaves at a rate I am also happy with. Have a feeling they will start picking up steam now that we are crossing out of the seedling phase and getting some real leaves. 08/20/24 - Update - Another day of massive growth (imo). Can't get enough of comparing daily photos to see how much foliage has grown while I'm out at work. I increased the PPFD to 400 yesterday, and the plants seem to be responding well. It is slightly higher than what is recommended in many places, but I have also read of people going right to 600ppfd in early veg and being fine. I plan to monitor and adjust if any signs of stress start to show. The Runt of the litter had bone dry soil this morning, which I am a bit confused about, but it must have not had as saturated soil from the previous watering or the initial soak when the seed was first planted. Either way, I decided to give it a little more water to keep it's soil as moist as the other two plants. I aim to have them all dry out at the same time, so hopefully this gets that pot back on track. Installed a new fan as well, which might help too since the old fan was static and closest to the small plant. 08/23/24 - update- Nothing much to say, the plants are all going strong. The runt is showing some leaf shape mutations, but this usually resolves as it grows from what I've read. Added a half dose of FloraGrow as there isn't much soil in pots this size, so I want to make sure they are getting enough Nutes. Don't want to overfeed them though, so just giving a small dose. May end up culling the runt if it doesn't catch up to the others, as my 3x3 tent may do better with 2 plants maxing the space instead of having 1 underachiever taking up space. Haven't decided yet.
