First step I took some 3.0 soil placed in tub and watered with tap water with microbe complete. I used a 1 gallon pump sprayer little at a time mixing in between mists till I can squeeze a drop or two of water with my hands. Then placed in solo cups dug a shallow hole 1/4 deep and put seeds. Lightly placed soil on top making sure no pumice. Gave a Spitz of water again directly over seeds placed clear solo cups on top for humidity dome and leave light on 24 hrs till they sprout. Temps 85. 3 days later all 4 germinated and are above ground.
This week all 4 are growing nice looking healthy. Day 1 I decided to add cover crop and a little mulch. Top paki gold little further ahead cuz it sprouted a day before the rest other than that pretty even. First water after initial soak was yesterday 8/25 with 1 cup between all 4.
Ok I might of over watered little this week. Hope they bounce back been a minute since last grow. Pushing forward I prepare my 10 gal a week in advance to transplant
With cover crop microbes and Mulch. Watered 1/2 gal each. Also day of transplant I did another 1/2. I installed ecowitt which one sitting 37% second at 46%.
First off irie genetics paki gold is growing so much thicker bustier faster but could be cuz I overwatered before transplant smuckhead could be finicky or could be genetics but paki didn't skip a beat. So I decided to top paki gold with no other training. Where Smuckhead I just bent over took one leaf off. I'm trying to slow down paki and let smuckhead catch up. Might be so be supercroping/heavy defoliation in future for paki. TIME WILL TELL. Also paki drinking way more water. I watered another 1/2 gal on day 20. Smuckhead none since transplant. Ecowitt says 33% right now. Started at 45.
I've decided to build a scrog. Smuckhead has bounced back and starting to Bush out while paki gold one topping other than that hands off nice structure. My plan is to flip in the next two weeks. Screen should be full at 6 weeks from seed. Ppfd I'm about 450 light dimmed to 160w. Started at 300 ppfd bumped to 380 at 2 weeks old. Then let them grow up till 450 ppfd from 24 inches to 18 dimmed at 160w
This week they starting to grow fast all I've been doing is water and tuck. Also Day 35 i defoliated and lollipop. Man I could scrog a 4x4 tent easily out with this paki gold from irie genetics. I have to flip to flower before I run out room my tent is only 2x4 - 5 ft height.
Paki Gold is throwing a fit the second day of flower I cranked my light to 100 percent but didn't realize I was at 15 inches from canopy. She a little stress also picture makes it look 100 percent worse she is still green with a lighter green towards center of light. I raised to 24 inches. Since then I haven't seen anything getting worse. Leaves stems everything green just a lighter green then i like. Smuckhead on the other hand hasn't skipped a beat. So I'm going to monitor and make adjustments as I go. I top dressed at beginning of flower with a 1/2 cup of craft blend with a 1/2 layer of build a flower. Whipped up a compost extract with build a flower rootwise and Q 20.
I figure it out it's my phone Pic making plant look yellow just look at the last 3 to 4 pictures. Both vibrant green with no burnt tips or deficiency. This week I defoliated a few leaves and super cropped this week to help control stretch. My light is zip tied to top of tent with canopy roughly 21 inches today. With a week left of stretch.
Can you say maxed. My lights are zip tied up top of tent. Canopy 15 inches from light so I had to dim to 200 watts still getting 900 pffd in center with 600 or so going away from center. If they don't stretch any more might bump up to 220 watts. If plants can handle. So cuz I dimmed my lights I did a major lollipop plus defoliating cuz my penetration not the same as running 100 percent. I plan on taking leaves only if blocking buds every week from now. Other than that it's water and watch how they turn out.
Today is day 35 of flower and looking great. Light is 12 inches away. They stopped stretching. Now they are focusing on budding. Smell good when I open up tent but can't pinpoint anything yet.
Getting to the most exiting weeks of growing. Also plant gets the most pickiest about environment and nutrients. Will see how buildasoil holds up this next month or so. Paki smells sweet while smuckhead smells raunchy will see how the smell develops too.
Starting see a little leaf edges curling on paki gold otherwise there looking fire. Smell is starting to increase. Just watering watching buds build. Loving build a soil.
Start off by 2 buds under center grow light. They have a little light bleach so I turned dimmer to 60 percent also turned lights to 11 on 13 off. Buds are maturing any ways. Trichomes about 50 50 clear to milky. Plan on chopping in 3 weeks at week 10. Will
Almost there. Man I'm excited for to smoke both plants. This run has turned out great so far. Maybe couple more weeks will see. I have to harvest both at the same time. Which they are maturing pretty close together.
9 weeks today. I'm a chop both next week check trichomes milky white still with a little clear. I would guess by next week I should see a hint of amber if not still going to harvest so I can get more rounds in before next summer.
I gave them the chopped today. Paki could went another week as smuckhead could harvested a week earlier. Good middle. Lots of milky trichomes with a hint of amber. Going to dry for 14 days. But the smells I get off is hash oniony sweet smells. Idk I'm not a good describer yet on smell. It's dank put it like that.
