Oct 17th - Day 1 - Germination
- Germinate 2 random seeds found in some weed. Unsure of strain or breeder, Selected a random strain as to be able make this diary
Oct 18th - Day 2
- Planted sprouted seeds in a Rapid rooter and placed into shot glass
Oct 19th - Day 3
- Planted seeds into 2g bucket with Promix Hp
- Immediately added a good dose of Nutrients to see what they can handle
Oct 22nd - Day 5
- Looking good, #1 is slightly stronger
Oct 28th - Day 10
- Feeding Nutrients to see how a seedling handles it.
- Both plants will received same nutrients
Oct 29th - Day 11
- Will wait and see how they handle nutrients as #2 is behind
Nov 1st - 7th
Nov 1st - Day 15
- Added a small fan to help circulate air better inside the tent
Nov 2nd - Day 16 - Water only
- 5 days from last feed
- Soil was very dry before I added Water only that was pH adjusted only
Nov 3rd - 4th - 24 hours lights on
- Hydro is cheap all day on weekends so for 2 days I adjusted the lights to run 24 hours
Nov 5th - Day 19
- Back to 18/6 light cycle
Nov 7th - Day 21
- Did another nutrient feeding
Nov 8th - Nov 14th
Nov 10th - 24 hour lights
- Added more drain holes to buckets. Mainly on #2 as it may have been causing the stunting
- Again ran the lights 24 hours over the weekend
Nov 11th - Topped #1
- See photo above of where I made the cut
- Topped at 5-6 nodes
- This means #2 will be left alone to grow. This is also due to it being behind
Nov 12th - 18/6 lights
- PH adjusted water only. I always allow for runoff and test runoff before removing the runoff water.
- Have been purposely allowing soil to dry out to make sure roots were not sitting in water due to not enough drain holes which I have corrected
Nov 15th - 21st
Nov 17th - Feeding
- Bumped nutrients a lot as last week I only watered and dried out soil
Nov 18th - Topping #1 again
- Topped #1 again
Nov 21st - Trimmed #1
- Continued my assault on #1 by trimming all the big leaves off
Nov 22nd - 28th
Nov 23rd - Install HPS
- Switched light to HPS as I am also growing Autos with these plants and they have begun to flower. Just another variable to throw at these plants
Nov 25th - Feeding
- Biggest feeding yet with the 8ml across the board. We'll see how they handle it
@DeeGee757, SorryI have edited the mistake. Experiment as in, these are just random seeds I have found in some weed I decided to try and germinate and see how they grew. As you will see the growth is pretty good and they appear to be indicas. I will also be experimenting with how much stress these plants can handle. On one plant I leave it completely alone to do its thing until it grows to tall for the tent and I may top then/begin flowering. The second plant will be subjected to topping, some accidental Fimming lol, lots of trimming, LST and HST. Basically I butcher the second plant regularly to see how the two react differently.
