Germination
Germination was done in a tiny pot. It took about 4 days til i planted it into the pot. This is the first photo when i planted the small plant into the large pot. The soil consists of 75-80% soil mix containing some perlite and organic material. I might add specific percentages later. The other 20% is pine bark to increase airflow. All was mixed together.

The photos of this week are from Tuesday to Thursday. I missed taking photos on monday. Spotting the bronze/brown dots on my plant i documented it over these days. At this point i knew almost nothing about deficiencies or pests. My conclusion was it might be a calcium deficiency. Therefore i made some bone meal from chicken bones. These were then worked into the soil.

The weather was phenomenal early august and the plant just couldnt get enough sun. At this point i understood why it is important to have such a huge pot for a plant which supposedly only lasts 9-10 weeks. The speed of grow is immense during sunny days. I also have some chilis in smaller pots. They almost died because the roots got cooked in the heat. A large pot helps with these temperatures and keeps the moisture for longer i guess.

Again the grow was insane during the sunny days we had. Mid week i took the plant out of the pot and filled the bottom with a layer of pine bark to improve the waterflow out of the pot and put in an extra layer of fresh soil. I simply put the block of root and soil as it was on top and filled the side with some fresh soil and put pine bark on top to help prevent too fast evaporation of water. The branches get bend by me multiple times a week to improve sun coverage. I mostly bend them downwards so they grow more outwards.

Since the dots did not disappear and the plant showed signs of getting eaten i started to worry. I investigated the situation thoroughly and found different bugs. After some research i decided on showering the plant with water to knock most of these bugs off. I eventually did buy some "natural soap" which does not hurt the plant and created a homemade pesticide with vegetable oil. This i sprayed all over the plant and showered it again half an hour later. This week i also started to remove some of the large fan leafs and continued to bend the branches so they all receive more light.

I removed some more fan leaves and will probably only remove 2 or 3 more later towards the end of blooming. The dutch-passion website stated that most Auto Blueberrys will reach a height of 50-75cm. This will be surpassed for sure. Just a matter of time now.

Photos taken on wednesday this week. Plants are goin crazy right now. The top third of the main cola is definitely ready for harvest. Unsure what to do, since the rest does not seem quite at it yet. It has been raining or been cloudy for the last days. There are some sunny days in the next days to come. Will decide what to do tomorrow.

I was about to give her a couple more days, as recommended by some fellow growers. 2 days ago i detected some small bud rot. I inspected the plant and found more early bud rot spots. Consequently i decided to cut it. The next 3 days are all cloudy and rainy all day. It showed roughly about 60% cloudy, 20-25% clear and around 15-20% amber trichomes. A friend of mine borrowed me his secondary growing tent and ventilation kit including air filter. Today it took me a couple of hours to defoliate the whole plant and thoroughly inspect it for mould moving all buds. There were 10+ tiny early bud rot spots, 1 small spot and one spot of somewhat advanced bud rot. All in all i did not have to cut off too much and am still more than happy with the result, although the sudden situation is quite a bummer. I had to wash my hands about 15 times after i was done, since all the resin and smell kept sticking onto me. Actually insane how sticky it is.

@OldschoolJoe, thank you. I set the bee as the cover pic. Unfortunately i had to cut it due to developing bud rot, caused by too high humidity for too many days.
