The Healthy Start nutritional tablets from my regular supplier (Bioplantenvoeding.nl) were not available. They are currently working on new tablets, of which they sent me a few, and they sent me an email that says : "I just did a quick analysis myself by dissolving an original tablet and a new tablet in a liter of water. The original tablet seems to dissolve faster, but the EC came out much higher (6.6 compared to 3.0). The PH is 6.2 in the water with the old tablet and 5.9 in the new tablet. Unfortunately I don't have a report yet regarding the measured nutritional value, but if it were the same, it seems that the new tablet gives less chance of burning." In the meantime, I have ordered the original BioTabs tablets, which I'm using now for my new grow ( called : Mixed strains) I thought it would be fun to do a test with the tablets from BioTabs, those from Bioplantenvoeding (both the new and the old). In this diary I test 3 mother plants, each with a different tablet.

Still no difference 😑 But this week I topped and defoliated the plants. Now they will start using extra nutrients. I hope we will see some differences soon 😏

No difference between the 3 clones. All plants look the same. I defoliated the plants by removing the lower branches and lower leaves Days are getting colder, therefore plants don't grow much. Because the tent is in a cold room, it got too cold in the tent 😱. That's why I have my 2x LED lights 42watt replaced by one 250 Watt HPS growlight 💪. Since I had my 2x LED lights 42watt replaced by one 250 Watt HPS growlight last week, the plants have grown a lot. The new leaves are light green because of their rapid growth. The plant with the new Healthy start tablet (the plant on the right) has the darkest green color, probably due to the good absorption of nitrogen in the tablets. I took some cuttings to renew my motherplants. I'll start a new diary with these cuttings, althought I've not yet decided if I would flower them, or just use them as new motherplants. 😏 For the mother plants participating in this Tabtest, I am starting to see differences between the plants for the first time. 😃 The plant with the NEW Bioplantenvoeding.nl tablet apparently contains a lot of nitrogen. The new shoots of the plant are quite a bit darker green than the other two plants. I recently received a message from the producer that tests showed that the potassium content was a bit low. Apparently it does contain sufficient nitrogen. I will continue with this tab test until the cuttings have to be transplanted, because then I will get rid of the three plants due to a lack of space.
