Week 1, 2 seeds popped, Have put seeds into water only soil, just been misting with rain water, seaweed extract, and compost tea once a week. I’m battling temps, the small tent I have is a constant struggle. The plants are both looking healthy

Week 2, plants are looking healthy, one is much bigger than the other. Only been giving them rain water, and spraying leaves with seaweed extract.

Week 3, plants are doing well. The much larger one has responded well to some LST I’m just going to let the smaller one run it’s course. Have dropped the lights as they have started to pop pistils. Temps have been really hot here, tent got to 33 degrees. Still just feeding rain water and compost teas.

Week 4, plants are looking healthy. Adjusted and added some more ties for the larger plant and defoliated some larger fan leaves. She has bounced back well. Finally got a chance to LST the smaller plant and also defoliated some of her larger leaves. Only fed them water this week as I think my worm lechate May have burnt some of the leaf edges.

Week 5, plants are doing great. The smaller plant is catching up, have just tied her down a little bit more to get some more light penetration. Might do a light defoliation next watering, and get rid of some of the lower fan leaves. The larger plant is doing her thing, have only fed them rain water this week.

Week 6, plants are looking healthy. The flowers on the larger plant are swelling, defoliated all the lower leaves and any large leaves covering bud sites. Will be my last chop until the end now. Smaller plant has caught up a lot, with one main cola, really looking forward to seeing her keep growing, she looks like she’ll finish a week or two behind the larger plant. Have just been feeding rain water.

Week 8, plants are healthy. Still just feeding rain water. Temps have been much cooler this week, the smell is getting much stronger. The larger plant is definitely close to finishing, hopefully a few more orange hairs this week, It the second plant seems it’s going to take another 2weeks, and hopefully fill right out.

Grow Questions

I was just wondering if someone could confirm, Some of the leaves on my plant have have copper, dry edges, and a few have purple stems. I think this is due to a magnesium deficiency. Both plants seem to be fine, wanted to know a fix for next grow, if it happens again? Thanks

ive been looking through your diary . First thing i saw your temperatures are pretty high, Weed likes it under 28 degree, best temps are between 22 and 26 degree, thats the wellnesstemperature for weed. And your rh was not optimal way to low. Weed likes it more humid in the beginning, they grow much better. And i think your composttea was very rich in nitrogen ( can see it in dakgreen leaves and burnt tips) It may be the combiation of enrichd soil and composttea too. . After plant has stopped stretching there is no need for nitrogen, choose another composttea with P and K. The purpel stems anre genetics , nothing to worry about.

Week 9, plants seem to be healthy. Still fattening up, I’m hoping the larger plant will be ready for the chop next week. Still quite a few white pistils. Not getting much of a fade though? Was wondering if that’s because my water only soil still has lots of nutrients for the plant to use up? Still only feeding her water. The second plant still seems like it has another 2 weeks to go, her main cola is fattening up nicely. I gave her a TLO finishing tea (molasses, guano, kelp meal, and worm lechate) They both smell amazing.

Week 10, both plants are happy and healthy. I’m hoping plant 1 finishes next week, plant 2 seems like it has a few weeks left. Considering there supposed to be 8week turn around plants, they’ve gone a fair bit over. Not a big deal, I’ve learnt a lot and can’t wait to start again. The smell is so strong, really nice sweet smell too, awesome opening the tent and letting it hit your face. Getting some fade on the second plant, interested to see if the taste of the plant is different? Both plants still fattening up too. Just feeding water I also think the leaf rust and curled leaves might have been from wind burn. I read about it on GWE. I have a powerful fan next to the plant, was to battle high temps. Thanks for all your comments, really appreciate the community support. P.S if you think lechate is unorthodox you should probably read #TrueLivingOrganics. I only started to grow after I read it.

Week 11, plants both doing great. Changed my lighting arrangement to a single migro. They seem to be loving it. Still feeding just water. Just when I thought one was almost finished it’s pushing out more buds. Still a fair few white pistils. Other plant has a nice fade, can’t wait to try both of them.

Buds were dense, sticky, and smell amazing. Have them in jars curing so I haven’t tried them yet. They definitely took longer than expected but im really happy with the yield for my first grow.

This was a great first grow, and a great strain to start with. Very easy to grow, and very resilient. Will definitely grow again. Using water only soil, with added compost teas seemed to do the trick, combined with a strong pheno (at least compared to the other one still in the tent) the plant yielded beyond my expectations. Can’t wait for the finished cure to try her out.

worm lechate? And you claim this is your first grow? I’m fascinated. What was your motivation to go unorthodox in your very first attempt?

That big nug looks awesome! We’re you able to fit that into that drying machine. I was thinking about getting one of those since my grow space is very humid and dehumidifiers don’t do much when growing plants in the same area are transpiring tons of water.

You have done a few things very good. starting in a big pot after germination, filled with enriched soil. Normally you dont have to feed nitrogen to those girls , if you use good soil. its enough to give them fertilisers if the start to show up defiencies,
