Screwauger Just getting started on my 6th Autopot Grow. I am growing gifted seeds from a fellow GD friend and the AM bean germinated rapidly and has sprouted with equal vigor!! I currently have two "hacked" cob lamps that contain citizen cobs (4). One lamp has two Citizen CLU048-1212 90CRI GEN5 - 4000K lenses and the other has two Citizen CLU048-1212 90CRI GEN6 - 3500K lenses. I plan to supplement these either with a bank of china leds or, if timing is right, I plan to upgrade the tent to two 288 quantum boards very soon. My first grow using mega crop and I am excited by the results I have seen from others using autopots and mega crop. I have the cal mag, sweet candy and bloom explosion supplements but may choose to follow the advice of Greenleaf and go straight MC this first round (for later comparisons). Screwauger This autopot grow has a fairly standard 3 week period at the outset where "hand watering" is required to allow the seedlings to establish in the pot prior to turning the work over to the gravity fed reservoir. I realized at the close of week 2 that my temps were too low. I am using two hacked cob lights and they give off relatively no heat compared to the lamps as purchased. I always use a 24/0 light schedule for the first 2-3 weeks as a means of heating the tent. I added two additional Galaxy Hydro 300w LED's to the mix and that brought my tempts into the low 70's F. The plant got about 750ml of nutrient solution on Day 5 and on Day 10.

Screwauger Clearly the low temps at the start have effected my plant. It should be about triple this size based on my past grow comparisons. We will continue on nonetheless. It is growing and looks overall, okay. I did bump up the Mega Crop to 3 grams per gallon (there is now option for weights), omitted the ES this feeding just because MC is supposed to cover all of the needs so moderation until I see a problem. Screwauger Hey there. Feb 2, 2019. Day 28 of this plants life. This is an autopot grow and typically, plants are switched to the gravity fed reservoir by now (day 21ish) but I still believe low temps in my tent set this gal back a week or two. I've not grown this strain before so it possibly genetic but I doubt that. Kept the plant on the same 3gram/gallon of MC. Looks overall healthy but perhaps stunted, ? permanently? Thanks for stopping in. Things are expected to take off soon and the plant has shown more vigor the past two days. Stay tuned.

Screwauger Apologies to any/all trying to follow this journal. I had some set backs and this winter has been difficult therefore, my grow took a back seat while I "checked out" for a period of time. Very little attention to detail and my plant/grow has shown the effects. Starting out with low temps and a stalled seedling, then some medical issues and on day 30, I noted the Mazar was beginning to show some vigor. I only had the one pic this week. Thanks.

Screwauger Week 6 has traditionally been the time I begin to think about transitioning to a bloom mix of nutrients. The plant tells me I am no where near that stage yet due to the set backs. In addition, there appears to be something happening with the Mazar as she looks overwatered and weird this week. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do much so I stuck it on the autopot reservoir and crossed my fingers. So many "new" things and/or changes this grow that I have stymied myself in trying to diagnose anything. New megacrop nute regimen, new QB lamp, new strain/breeder and never before have a struggled with low temps as the tent was full of cheap blurples and low temps were never a concern. With the QB not being at full power, I've had to add in some cob lights for heat purposes. Stay tuned despite the slow and boring pace hahaha

Screwauger So things have continued to improve with the Mazar. As indicated by the pics, she is well into pre-flower. I cannot blame the Mega crop nutes for the small size of the plant as there have been so many variables that have been inconsistent (temp, RH, grower attention) but I am used to really pushing the grow nutes at this stage and getting all the veg possible out of an auto strain. Given reality, I accepted she was not going to be an 8 ounce plant, set mu sights on next round and started following the MC early flower recommended amounts of nutes/ppm. I upped the ppm a bit and will continue to monitor closely. Encouraged by the uptick in plant vigor and response. I will be adding some supplements next res refill which has been every 7 days dump old, mix new.

Screwauger Terrible photographs and I apologize for that. All part of my lack of interest in this grow due to ongoing life issues. That said, I've upped the Mega Crop and added a manufacturers rec. dose of sweet candy to enhance bud site development and growth during this phase. I am impressed with how high I am pushing the ppm and no signs of nute burn and as yet, no cal mag deficiencies noted though, I threw in some epsom salt this res change to cover any that might be happening. I do see a few brown areas on older growth. Coming along in my opinion.

Screwauger To bring us current in the journal, I bring you week 9. I am unfamiliar with the Auto Mazar genetics or growth patterns but since a fellow grower was so generous, I will be growing more and getting a better idea. Currently, I have done some rounds of LST (Bowl Training) and have a number of viable bud sites that I am propagating!!! Growth overall is encouraging but any size (vertical growth) enhancements are done as the stems have hardened off and she is in full flower!! I suspect another 7 weeks easily given how far she was set back by the low temps but I will follow her lead.

Screwauger Day 70 today. Plant is coming along, better than expected really. It is sort of strange that there are branches with ripening flowers, and branches with very early flowers. Likely be a two stage harvest but that is weeks away in my estimation. Thanks for dropping in and taking a look. Starting to smell fairly dank.

Screwauger Hey There. I think I may have an issue. Have never seen this before. My tops are stacking, hardening up and getting sticky. There are no pistils anywhere?!? Don't forget, the numbers I am citing for amounts are grams per gallon vs the option in the drop down "tsp/gal" Please comment if you know what is happening to this plant I put through hell. Hermied??
