I use a 20L basket with soil and perlite, put a long and a short plastic bottle in it for watering from the bottom on different heights and angles. I filled the basket with about 3 à 4 liters of water with 4 ml/L Canna Rhizotonic (rootstimulator).
I drilled holes in the basket, wich i can use to mount ties, because I want to experiment with low stress training (LST).
I put the seed with the root downward like 0,5 cm in the soil. Iwaterred it a little bit and tied a plastic fruit basket with holes on top of it. Sprayed water on the inside to get higher humidity levels.
On the background of the 3rd photo you can see my 1st grow; Blueberry Bliss Auto, wich is at the end of the 7 week and you can follow her in my other growdiary.
Looking forward to see how this Purple Kush Auto will develop!
Update Day 3:
I decided to do the pre-growth inside with a Philips PLE-R Master 33W, 6500L, 2160 Lumen. My first grow was stretching behind teh window, so I hope with this light this will not happen. Can anyone tell me if this is a good idea or not? And what about the distance?
Day 9, Put her outside for the first time. I am growing her inside underneath a 33W 6500k energy saving bulb, but the leafs seems to have some strange structure and spots. I hope normal sunlight will do her good.
Can anyone tell me if there is a problem with her leafs and if so, then what is is?
Day 12, I raised the soil again till the cotyledon leafs. Can anyone tell me if she is stretching under my indoor 33W CFL light or if it looks normal?
I have her indoor mainly because of bad weather in NL. When the weather is good, like today I put her outside.
The second set of leafs are mutant leafs. One finger flly attached to the main finger. The new (3rd) set of leafs looks better.
Day 13, She got some have burned leafs becausr the fan wasn't blowing. Should i cutt off the burned spots or just leave the leafs like this?
I started with LST (low stress training). This is my first time, so I would like to hear your comments and suggestions.
I cut of the burned parts of the leafs and protected het or the rain (had a very rainy week i n NL).
Because she seems to grow very quickly right now. I wil start in week 4 with a little Canna Terra Vega.
Because she seems to grow quickly right now, I started to gave a little bit Canna Terra Vega next to Canna Rhizotonic 👌.
The new sets of leafs are looking far more healthier then the sets that started growing under the CFL light 😃.
Anyone with knowledge, comments, suggestions about my LST, please give me your tips 'n tricks 🙏.
Week 7, she started to flower and I tied her down again.
I must say that I will not attempt this kind of LST again. I like it when she is developping naturally on her own, without low stress training her. The soil also get's to wet, beacuse her leafs don't hold back the rain so good. I would like to water her by myslef, so I can also give her nutes. And thereby I like the natural christmastree kind of shape.
