falcon 9 s1. budget LED spotlight grow for science.
Start of this girls adventure (she's half smoked already)
I wanted to make this to show people what can be done with essentially nothing. It's not the best way and unless your racking shit. It's probably more expensive than doing it properly. However I'm stubborn and was waiting on surgery so decided to test a theory. Random call in so couldn't have a proper set up going.
Enter the ghetto box.
5x27w osram led spotlights. Heavier on the 2700k because she was in with her mum in flower hence the window sill extra hours. Swapped back in the 6500k in a week or 2.
I'll aim to do this properly over the next week or so, her being done and all.
Topped alot of the exotic genetix runs yeilds I've seen on here 🤫
Definitely needs a repot.
Topped and trained her at the start of the week. She took to it like a champ.
This method is my favourite way to start clones.
Last photos show how nice that growth took.
Ignore the ducksfoot in the back. She got on my nerves and ended up getting given away.
Just letting her settle into the new shape and level out.
Feeding every second water. Random foliar N heavy water soluble one I found at a nursery near me.
Definitely needs a repot but I like the game of keeping them happy when they have nothing in the medium to learn the pheno better.
Not many photos this week.
She reeks in veg. The last behind her is in flower and she is over powering it...
Growth still coming along well. Havnt done much other than slight lst after the super crop and top.
Cruising along nicely! She needs more room and more soil so changes will be made soon.
Drinking about 1.5l every 2-3 days. Feed feed water cycle.
No yellowing and she is pretty much all roots at this point.
Random foliar nutrients for the win.
Aaaand she's got her own home finally. Still need to re pot. Not sure why it hadn't been done I think some shit had come up. She didn't mind though.
Drinking every day here. Around 1l.
Finally repotted!
She's really filled out the space and gonna be flipping to flower soon. The smaller pot meant some slower growth which suited me fine life wise.
Moved to a 27L pot.
Same mix but charged with worm castings and rock dust for later phosphate needs.
Flipped 2 days into this week! And a shot of the ghetto box in all its glory.
I know the thing says 150w but it's 100. They strangely didn't have hardware spotlights as an option🤷♂️
Nutrients kept the same for this week and lights dropped gradually over the last few days 2 hours a night to 11 on 13 off. Here for 1 week then back to 12 on.
Still happy in there
She stretching!
Had the door open and humidity was 20% outside so it dropped super quick in there but it was sitting around 60 all closed up.
Just doing her thing. Not much to report here.
Started introducing potash to the nutrient mix at a half dose to get her ready.
Around 800-900ppfd at canopy now.
Looking pretty damn happy here.
All the sites forming already covered in little trics. She launches in quick every time I've run her.
Still on the same balance of veg + potash for nutrients.
Starting to stack on nicely now. Stinks already but it did that in veg so no surprises there.
No more veg nutes. On to a pretty nicely balanced one I found with ratios I liked for flower.
Very country specific and it's no Buenos here but trust when I say it wasn't anything fancy.
Sort of week 4/5 here if your counting from flip. Ticking along.
Done abit of super cropping to keep a level canopy through the stretch. Nothing crazy. Accidentally topped one via crushing it but you get that🤷♂️
Knocked out most of the nitrogen now.
Purples starting to creep through and all the undersides are a super nice lavender colour.
Smell is very very loud. Same as before just ramped up.
Creamy floral citrus gas. Kind of on a rosewater chemically side for the floral.
Colours really coming through now.
Fattening up nicely and starting her fade.
I left more quite a few lowers leaves around to make sure she could take the fade without the flower production suffering. Standard procedure for my growing style.
Fucking ove this pheno. Not a heavy producer but God damn the smoke is worth it.
Harvest week has rolled around!
She's been on straight water for the past week with a little root roids watered in to help her get the last of everything.
Dropped the PH to make as much as possible available and rode her out.
Most of the buds have been supported now. She never gets thick stems and alwaysssss flops around.
Have her my usual 3 days at 16 on before a 12 hr night and harvest.
