1/10, placed the seed in slightly warm water solution with 3% h2o2. After 3 hours the seeds cracked open exposing the radicle so placed it directly in the prepared jiffy pellet (Expandend in water for 15-20 min, then squeezed the fuck out of it and rolled between fingers to fluff the peat) about 1 cm under the surface, covered with sprinkling peat and compressed slightly. For the next 2 days moistened up the jiffy regularly with the solution using a nebulizer, keeped at max humidity, 25-27c, inside a plastic dome under the light at 40% 75cm 18/6

Should we extract some air outside of the tent by keeping it open and using a little dome on her to keep a more steady humidity? Right now there is no forced air exchange apart from the small fan inside and the pot itself is saturating the tent with humidity.

I would use a little grow box for seedling and put it inside ur tent. It will hold 70%+ rh all the time. Otherwise you use a humidifier!! But don’t use ur carbon filter if you use tap water! You need RO water without any calcium magnesium in the water. Because the carbon filter will stop working it will get full of white powder trust me I’ve done it before! It’s the best way! Then you need a hygrostat! You just plug the humidifier in it and choose the wanted RH% and it does the work for you! Or you buy a humidifier from spider farm or mars hydro they have good ones but expensive then u don’t need a hygrostat. So you need equipment to keep the right conditions you wont be able to control it without. Trust me it’s very hard to keep the rh down where I live it’s very humid!

03/10 Day 1 - She breaked the soil. From here trying to keep a steady 22.5-25 c with 70-80% humidity, struggling a bit with the dome and using a small cheap circulation fan. The tent has not the in-line fan yet and most intake ports are closed 05/10 Day 3 - Prepared the 20 L smart pot with terra canna professional moistening it up around 30-40 % moist content with the recommend dose of biocanna rhyzotonic, 2-3 cm of perlite layer at the base of the pot under the mix layer, then transplanted directly the jiffy without removing the paper cover (I worried about the jiffy crumbling and exposing the radicle). The same evening I gave the rest of the solution and the substrate collapsed a little, should be normal. 06/10 Day 4 - Humidity rising up excessively due to the well watered pot and lack of air exchange. Trying to re-stabilising it by directing the small fan closer to the pot surface, opened up the intake ports. Temps slightly on the lower end 20-22.5c. Light at 50% 60cm 07/10 Day 5 - Appartently yesterday humidity readings were wrong due to the hygrometer touching the substrate. Now steadily fluctuating between 70-80%. Now realizing i misinterpreted Canna instruction on the preparation of the substrate. Not giving water until the pot goes back to 30% moist content. Maybe this will hinder root growth for the first week but next time we will do better. Still no proper solution for air exchange, only the small fan intaking from one of the intake ports and giving a gentle breeze.

Increased the light schedule to 20/4. She has one of her true leaves smaller then the other.. don’t know if it’s my fault, maybe genetics.. who knows 12/10 Watered her with 600 ml of solution using rain water from early on the week 14/10 Watered 750 ml

Trying some (not so low stress) LST. I feel I know the intent but the execution is not so straightforward. Feel free to bring some criticism. Yes I started with it being maybe too short and too soon… but it seems to be taking it nonetheless. From now on we will be watering her with 1 L of feed on the all pot since the bigger fan leaves are reaching the pot corner. 24/10 tomorrow a new week starts a so a new lst sesh

Trying something I’ve seen from other grows. This gmo is predominately indica and the node extension is minimal making a really dense stem distribution. Let’s see where this goes friends

Would you say this auto just entered pre flower? I read autos usually enter pre flower in week 3-4 of veg and I’m starting to notice it really pushing the growth up

This will differentiate greatly by strains. It looks like the majority of the diaries here growing this strain have seen the end of the vegetative cycle coming at weeks 3-4. So you are right on track. If you are noticing a massive growth increase you are now entering flower. I would bet you will start seeing pistols forming in the coming week. My last Auto run all had four weeks of veg before they started flowering. Like you mentioned, it was an explosion of growth once they entered into flower. Time to give it a bit more light and switch to bloom fertilizer. It also looks like the majority of diaries here growing this strain went 10 total weeks so you are nearly halfway to the finish line my friend. I hope this helps.

Pistils appeared today!! Hopefully this will be the first week of transition to flower. We putted her under a Scrog net, maybe she will not be able to fill the canopy but it’s still worth it 03/11 - Day 32 Today we did some long overdue defoliation and lollipopping. It was difficult since this is the first time doing something like this but i think the end result is decent, or at least will be beneficial for her. A lot of secondary branches where kept in the dark for so long and so many fan leaves there were in there you couldn't see the main trunk... This is a great lesson for the next round. We also lowered the scrog a lot more and now all the branches are at canopy level. If you see a great lack of leaves and branches on the right side is because we lost one of the main branches when she was 3 weeks old while doing lst. Now i can see where he would have been lol. Lesson learned.

Week two of pre-flower. Probabily going to transition to full flower this week or next. Some branches are starting the stretch. Will try to push the scrog to its max.

High Y_d_a_7, You want to get the SCROG net a bit more up to stimulate a healthy airflow. I would say 5 inches (10 centimers) would do it. And all the buds will still reach the net so you will still keep a screen full with green. You want to keep the lamp on full power. I mean the only reason plants start to strech is because they need more light. Try to fill up the full screen, so also on the outsides. Train your plant that from above you can not see the floor from your tent. And be carefull that leaves are not stacked on eachtoher blocking the airflow and causing mold. Happy Growing Buddy! 💚

She did undergo a major stress last week due to a really nasty temperature drop and error from watering. Maybe we introduced bloom fertilizer too late. Now recoverying from it, Defoliation planned for later on the week

We lost day 50 - 51. It’s going well so far but I wonder when the buds will start to get bigger. We are giving 1,5L of feed every two days cause it’s seems any more will led her to overwatering. I think is not drinking much even tough the VPD is in the over transpiration side, almost critical. I’m noticing also burnt tips, probably due to that low humidity. Last week was underfeeded… lmao this is so easy to unbalance. Edit 26/11 We discovered thanks to some input on the last question here that she’s in magnesium and potassium deficiencies and possibly even calcium and sulfur. Epsom salts are in the way. Edit 27/11 Looking for nutrient lock out. I will do a flush with 6.2 ph tap water.

Sorry for the late update - The last weeks have been a bit uncertain as you will see. This 9th week we had to flush the pot well because we did overfert her and built up salts on the bottom, plus a general off timing of the initial bulking fase as we thought it would have come a bit earlier. The light was too low still

This week you can see her getting back on track after the reset of last week, also we adjusted the light so that only the top colas get the optimum level of light (45 DLI/950 ppfd). The under colas get less light but this way we decrease the nute/light burn on the top flowers/leaves

Nothing worth noting here besides we decreased the light hours to 18/6, she seems to like it. We also have a plan to give her 12/12 the last weeks before harvest. About feeding: after the 8/9th weeks reset we changed our feeding strategy. Instead of giving an absurd amount each watering (Noobs), we changed to 0.8/1.0 EC feedings 1,5L every day with sporadic 150 ppm waterings

Maybe a light lower defoliation is needed, to make light reach better the lower buds. She's getting a more green colour and the buds are starting to bulk up

A few weeks from harvest probably, thrics are 70/30 cloudy/clear, even with the pistils white still. I think is this cultivar. Calixes are starting to swell up. The smell is really good now. She's drinking a lot less also. What bothers me is the brown dead sugar leaves on the top colas, i fear mold building inside them if i wait too long. Edit day 95: We will harvest in two days. She could go more weeks but her overall health is telling me she wants to rest. She has ~90% full cloudy trichs and decently sized flowers.
