We're now 6+ weeks into veg, and although I'm stressing them by topping and training their branches, I'm a bit surprised they are not growing taller.
I've now topped Plant A three times and Plant B twice.
The fan leaves are big and wide, but also low and making contact with the soil in some places. This makes me a bit nervous.
I've accidentally cracked or snapped the main stem on each plant when training the branches, but just repaired with a little dab of super glue, and some athletic or gaffers tape to pull it back tight for a day or two. Seems to work fine.
Also, what's up with LST clips? Why do they all have to be so extreme in their bends? I'm getting frustrated with them, I like wire better a lot of times. At any rate, the plants look SUPER healthy and I'm happy.
Plant A definitely seems to have more vigor and bounces back from topping and training more quickly than Plant B.
I'm done topping Plant A now, Plant B will be topped once more.
