My first photoperiod grow for quite a while. I'm a bit nervous about it 😂
So I germed a single seed using a method I found after a lengthy trawl of the web. It is a natural sponge, cut in half, which is wetted and wrung out. You then place the seed in this, and place it in an airtight container. Keep this at a nice ~25c in the dark and it will germinate. I found better results for myself than dropping in water or paper towel method.
Wow she grew a lot this week. More than the others! Almost doubled her height. Lots more leaves too. Going to have to keep an eye on her getting too tall too fast....
Day 21 - she got repotted into her 38 Litre airpot. She is not as close to the lights as I'd like, but saying that I wouldn't mind her to stretch a little bit.
Growing well this week. She's just starting to smell too 😋
I've not done a thing to her apart from feed/water and turn her pot 180 degrees through the week.
She grew 12cm in height this week and a whole lot bushier!!!
Day 42 - I trimmed off about 6 large fan leaves to get light to the lower bud sites.
This is her last week of 20/4 veg lighting.
Day 56 - She grew 10cm this week. Plenty of flower sites forming. She is a really bushy plant!
Day 56 - Tent configuration changed: 4x more CREE CXB3590's have been added and 4x blurple LED things removed. Lights now consist of 8x CXB3590's & 1x 1000W HID with flower bulb.
Growing her was very easy. 5 weeks veg from seed and then flip. I should have vegged longer because she didn't stretch very much at all in flowering. She is very smelly and it's quite strong stuff!! Not much Sativa in her and I can feel the Indica couch lock. Not a wake and bake strain 😂
I'm glad I've got to grow the OG Cheese strain, it's nice to know what true cheese is.
Well there she is all cut and dried. She didn't stretch as much as I feared/expected during flower. This is the first grow with using my UVB Flower Power tubes from the very start of flowering.
She's very stinky and quite strong!
3 quick questions 1.did you use the recommended amount of terpinator? 2.do you really believe that it helps with the smell does it make a difference? 3.and when you added it to the water did you add it with the nutrients in the same container or did you add it separately?

1. I used 5ml/L. Recommended is between 2.8 & 8.1 ml/L
2. I've not noticed the smell increase really, just more trichomes
3. Yes mixed in with the nutrients & cannazyme. Also I have a 'plain water' can which also has terpinator in it apart from when in flush, then just plain water.
All that being said I'd love to do a side by side grow sometime.

I use a Canon EOS 550D with 18-135mm lens for general work. I have just bought a 60mm EF-S macro lens to play with too.
Have a look at my Gold Bar Kush diary to have a look at the results of that!
I also have a tripod and a remote shutter release. These are very important for macro work because the camera needs to be kept dead still for quite a long time sometimes when the shutter is open.
