It was my first grow and I didn't want to make it any complicated at all. Experience the grow, that was my key motivation for this run.
Two plants seemed manageable to me and I didn't intend to add any extra light to her
It started out all well, but I soon realized that I can't rely on having enough sunlight during the day and temperatures were quite unstable at that early stage. I decided to move her in and buy a cheap led light without jeopardizing my aim to "keep it simple". I ended up with a 60w LED enough to keep her alive and working during shady days.
No added nutrition so far. I planted them in a very rich tomato soil, so nothing additional required so far
I had the silly idea of adding a top layer on my soil. Wouldn't do that again, but it was part of the learning process. I had no added value except keeping humidity higher for the direct sun exposure during the day.
I kept the ladies on the balcony all the time. Only exceptions were rainy and stormy conditions
Happy grow, I achieved a first step and got lucky that both turned out to be of good genetics. The seeds were a present and I had zero expectations to it so far. Somehow I got pulled into the growing experience by this coincidence
I guess she's ready to get into her final stage. I decided to dry out for 2 more weeks after having her flushed for 10 days. I had some lovely sunshiny days and didn't mind waiting for the buds to grow further.
Smelling the punch of Diesel each time I entered the balcony was such a great first time experience. I must admit that it got so strong that I started wondering how one could keep it inside without additional equipment.
It was that moment where I realized that things are getting serious. I need to make a decision if I want to continue a super simple grow or make my thoughts on moving on to other levels.
One thing was for sure, I got hooked up to the growing experience already
First time growing experience this was a great genetic to work on. Except the very intense odor that was constantly challenging my so wished stealthy grow to work out at all
It was harvest week and I have been the proudest growmie around. Knowing that feeling from seed to harvest it has become a act of grounding. And taking care of these beautiful pungy green ladies is giving such a nice relaxing time every day.
