Hello growers
Stopped over in BKK for a few days and popped into the RQS shop there. Picked up a few seeds to try for next year and decided to throw 2 of each down this week. All strains are photoperiod
Special Queen #1
Special Kush #1
White widow
Germination after 6 days so far 4/6 all
soaked in water 24hrs and put direct into soil.
One white widow I used my last peat pellet but I just threw it into the pot also.
General I'm a big fan of the peat pellets but I'm too impatient to wait for new ones to arrive. Ratio I like to use for my starters are 90/10 (soil/perlite) for the initial pot (500ml).
Hope to get some good results.
Hello growers
Had to travel but back and they seedlings doing ok, some watering issues but thats on me.
White widow got munched by some gnats, I forgot to drench the soil with neem powder so gave the soil a quick once over. Hopefully larvae all dead will have to keep an eye on it.
Watering from the bottom more than the top to drag roots down. Most are showing and will transfer to fabric pots in the next few week. Another suprise the other white widow popped out while I was away so 5/6 germ rate.
Hello growers,
All most forgot about this.
TLDR. Had to relocate to a new city, gave all but one plants away keeping a White widow.
Update
Have only set up my 1.2*1.2 and transplanted into my large 50L pot. Started LTS this week.
Feeding in 2L of water every 3-4 days(6.0-6.3 pH).
Hello growers
Removed some of the fan leaves coving new branches, noticed some yellowing in the center of the leaves so most likely a Magnesium issue. Using a foliage spray with some Epsom salts to try combat it. Cat also nibbled on the leaf.
Watering reduced due to every 5 days but same volume.
Hello growers
Just over half way through planned veg.
Turned up lights from 60% to 80%, feed a bit more calcium and mag (ec 1.2) to combat the crispy leaves and fading. Opened her up using clips
Random basil growing in the corner
Hello growers
Another bending session. Been spraying her with a neem oil mix twice a day to get combat the gnats. Also removed the basil and another smaller plants growing around her and out them outside in the garden.
Same Watering schedule 2L every 5 days. (350 ppm / 6.3 pH)
Hello growers, 2 months of veg done. Defoliated and moved clips up one inch. Still showing a bit of magnesium deficiency not sure if its lacking or too much of another mineral.
Took a clone for the future.
Another week or so she will be ready
Hello growers.
Reached W9 veg, happy with her at this stage will flip on the 17/1. Soaking alfalfa to brew a SST (15g/2L) will germinate just before flip date.
Plant current 53cm tall (66cm from soil to main stem tip), around 30cm wide give or take. Lots of colas being developed so it shouldd be interesting. Sex is starting to show but just calyx no pistils just yet.
Fingers crossed we have a smooth flowering run.
Edit
17/1 no water for 5 days switched lights to 12/12 gave her 2L of alfalfa tea (30g/2L). Pistils showing now.
Hello growers
Flipped 17/1 so current two days into flower. Defoliated her for the last time and lollipoped. Just going to tucker her while she streches. Also using clips to help control it during the first few weeks
Hello growers
Good news/bad news my time line at my current location has moved forward moving to thailand or Australia so potential last grow this year, added and special kush and queen I started 6 weeks ago i to the flower tent. Going to flower them together now. I still have a 5 week old Kush in my veg tent.
Anyway the white widow doing ok. Some salt build up from the looks of it ao have been giving her water and molasses and probably will finish her off with that mixer.
Spring has arrived so temps are around 22 degrees outside. 26 in the tents and back to feeding every 3 days now. 2L @ 6.3/500ppm with molasses
Exciting time ahead
Hello growers
Stretching is happening, White widow didn't stretch as much as I anticipated. Feeding molasses water every 3 days. White widow clone also has been repotted and looking good.
Going back to bangkok in a few days, will probably get more seed from RQS. Im a fan of the kush #1 really pretty and easy plant to grow.
