She’s showing some cal mag issue mid plant. I had ph float I missed. Hoping it was lock out that got corrected. Looking to flip in 2 weeks.

I may have flipped a week early. I am trying to get ten nice colas. Aren’t we all. Took all the fan leaves off. A bit worried about that. Still learning grower here.

Second week of flower. Going steady, I think I flipped a week too early. My goal was to see the difference from the 6 week flip I’ve been falling into. Only got one plant so do t kind the experiment.

I think I over did it. This is an experimental grow for sure. HST the ten colas. Trimmed everything but the tops. Hopefully she recovers and performs.

Idk what to make of this. I tried a hyper aggressive defoliation in hopes to getting large dense colas. I’m no expert but she is looking rough.

Bud sites seemed to have developed with hairs. I got the close node distances. I should have left more branches off the colas. Live and learn. Now let’s see how far they get.

Still think I flipped a week too early and took too much growth off. I was expecting her to grow one more week. Think week 2 hst may have stopped growth. I also used Athena stack hoping to limit stretch. So maybe a bit too much of everything. Hoping the buds get big. I haven’t had much success in growing larger buds. Usually small buds with half the plant at 21-22 thc and the bottom fluffier and edible bound. I like that I isolated colas. Next grow I will leave more growth below. It is what it is. Maybe I can get a few ounces here.

Buds fattened up a ton over last week. Keeping ph in range. Water and ppm went down. Thinking she’s eating a lot. Upped the ppm to 1000. Was running closer to 800.

Buds are getting bigger. Starting to see some cloudy trichs, 1-2 weeks to chopping.

Buds getting much fatter. Looks great. Overfed last week to 1200ppm and dealt with ph drops that needed daily ph up. Dropped to low 5s everyday. I lowered the ppm to 1k and issue subsided. I think they are about two weeks away.

How much longer to chop. I’m having a hard time seeing if they are turning cloudy. Buds getting fatter every week. My eyes are playing tricks on me. But I don’t see any amber yet.

Lit Marker has a flowering time of around 70-75 days. If buds are still getting bigger then it's not time yet. Most of the pistils should be amber and curling. Water uptake will decrease also. Make sure to look at the actual buds and calyx, leaf trichomes mature faster. I like to harvest based on if it's a Indica, Sativa, or balanced Hybrid. When the bulbous heads of the trichomes are fully developed but still translucent, plants will produce a "high" and stimulanting effect, less sedative. It is the perfect moment to harvest strong Indica strains. When these bulbous heads turn milky is probably the best moment to harvest most available hybrids. When 70% of these trichome heads are milky and 30% amber, it is the perfect time to harvest mostly Sativa hybrids and long flowering strains (like Haze).

Had to adjust PH a few times when water levels got lower and EC went up. Trichs still look translucent. Others said this strain is 70-77 days ish. Looks like two weeks from here is about right. Buds are dense no fluff. I did get aggressive with pruning and defoliation early on. Will keep a few more lower level sites next time. Judging from the limited stretch, I may have flipped a weeks early. What’s on there looks good.

Turned super purple. Scared it is having PK toxicity. Turning down how much I’m feeding and hoping trychs ripen soon.

Used lst and hst. Aggressively defoliated. She is a resilient beast. Picture from week 3 to final speak volumes. Also shows me I most likely could have waited another week to flip.

Cut down. Colas feel heavy, no fluff, when I HSTed them as shown in before picture my expectations were low for success. I lost the second plant early on. I didn’t want to start over. Glad I didn’t. Let’s dry it and see what thc we got.
