Glass of water for 48 hours. Then into a wet paper towel inside of a ziplock bag for 24 hours. Root started to show from all three seeds and I placed them into their pots the next day. Two have breached and one has yet to surface. I’ll give it a few more days. If she doesn’t show I will begin a Wedding Glue Auto I have.
Lights at 35%
Lights at 55%
Lemon AK 1 is back left
Lemon AK 2 is back right
Upfront is Wedding Glue and I’m hope she sprouts soon.
Kind of dry but can’t help it with it being cold out.
Light are at 90%
Plan to up it to 100% by the end of this week.
Nothing but pH’d water so far.
Daily mistings in the morning.
Removed the empty pot and placed it in a different tent. With the lights pushing 100% I think that it would be intense on a baby reefer plant germinating it in with these two Lemon AKs. So I’ll move it in with these after it’s about two weeks old. But I just now put a Wedding Glue seed in a glass of water to begin the process.
No nutes yet. Will feed nutes tomorrow for first time this grow.
They are moving along quickly and have doubled in height this week.
Left is 17”
Right is 16”
Quarter turn the pots every week. Cold and very dry outside.
Drinking all the water I give. Each plant received one half gallon of nutes this week. Plain pH’d water for the rest of the waterings and mistings.
The Lemon AK on the left has shot up in height.
Left is 22.5” and it grew to within 9” of the light.
Right is 19.5” and was 12” from the light.
I raised the lights to 13” from the top of the left tree and 16” from the right tree.
The Wedding Glue Auto joins the tent this week.
The little girl in front is Fastbuds420’s Wedding Glue Auto. Light defoliation earlier this week. Buds are growing thicker. Left grew a half inch and right didn’t stretch anymore. Shorter plants than other Fastbuds autos I’ve grown.
Mostly plain pH’d tap water. One feeding with Cal-mag+.
Lights are 12.5” from right and 16” from right. Quarter turn the pots every week. The flowers smell nice when I brush against them. If they don’t stretch any more this week I’ll bring the light a little closer.
One gallon of water with added cal mag plus this week. Plain pH’d tap water for the rest of the waterings.
No more nutrients for the rest of their lives. Flushing is in the near future.
Defoliated all plants today.
Height:
Left 23”
Right 19.5”
Neither plant grew any taller this week so the lights have been lowered slightly.
Distance to lights:
Left 10”
Right 13.5”
Thankfully the air isn’t so dry anymore. It was much too dry for most of their growth.
Flushed each Lemon AK with 12 gallons of plain pH’d water. Using fabric pots assists greatly in flushing. The end is near.
No amber trichs yet, they are mostly cloudy.
Photos are from Monday. This post is a couple days late. Rather eventful week with family and my mind has been elsewhere.
Very few amber trichomes, almost all cloudy, but I think I’m going to set them the dark tent for the next 24-48hrs and then harvest after.
Left has actually grown a half inch because the main cola has swollen.
Right is at the same height.
Left 23.5” lights 9.5”
Right 19.5” lights at 13.5”
This grow cycle has had consistently low humidity levels. It has been a long winter, plenty of snow and very cold outside but I did what I could to try and give them some moisture in the tent. Next cycle that I experience these types of conditions, I will invest in a small humidifier to keep them more comfortable.
