Topping and training. Growth is 1cm/day. Cutting to 4-5 branches was successfull. Used BioBizz AllMix after repotting. No additional nutrients due to over-nutrification signs on one clone.
Reveg is finished.
Switched to 12-1 light schedule with 2 nights. Lights 70% @ 30-35cm.
Switched pots to 50/50 BioBizz LightMix and AllMix.
1 Feed EC 6 PPM 2000; 1 Feed EC 3 PPM 1000; Watering after that.
Removed old leafs and hard training everywhere possible.
My first spider guards my plants 😍
Growing fine. Measuring run off water. 2 have too much nutrients, PH was too low, but normalized giving plain tap water. 2 time cut out branches which would not get much light, to keep some main lines of these bushy girls. 2 weeks now of 2 times night per 24h, think they grow even faster. introduced more light breaks, saving 3h more energy. No signs of bad effects. will send them to flowering next week, theres no more space in the grow tent, only upwards. 2 will get one portion of grow nutrients. Biobizz Allmix did all the job with 2 times repotting.
Growing fine. Cut out lower branches and leaves. Fighting against humidity. Reducing Low Stress Training. Going to switch to flower light schedule as they have grown enough for their small home.
Sent them into flowering by switching to 11 hours light. After just 2 days i got first signs of flowering.
But: just with flowering first signs of missing nutrients have shown on some leaves.
Will start with some cal / mag and half dose nutrients with next watering.
Two weeks into flowering. Ran off nutrients while i was away 12 days. Managed to control PH during this time for watering 2 times. Now giving them a nutrient watering 2 times at EC 1,3. Hope this stops dying of leafs.
They need a cut out of every lower branch that didnt reach the scrog level.
It smells and it is sticky. Yellow leaf rate is lower. Buds are growing. Cut out some lower branches but could not decide on most ones.
After getting 3 times nutrients in a row, run off water is 6,7-7,3 Ph and 1,4-3,0 EC 🤯. So only water next week.
Put all top branches to the same level and put the light at optimized height for DLI40.
Cant await next week.
Buds are growing. Smell is fine.
Watering:
1. only PH-ed water PH: 6,0; EC: 600;
Run-off PH: 7,1-8,0; EC: 1100-1600;
2. 2l nutrient water; PH: 6,0; EC: 1000; Rest PH-ed only water for run-off;
Run-off: PH: 6,6-7,5; EC: 1100-1550;
But:
The overall leaf color is changing to yellow.
Some spots have signs of too much nutrients, but overall they seem to need more nutrients.
Seems like a partial nutrient lockout:
Is it due to high run-off water PH-value ?
Or too much nutrients built up in the grow medium ?
Should i do a full flush, or are there any other helpers ?
Light:
Some signs of light stress if went to 270W; went back to 250W;
Switching to 9,5h @ 10,5h allowing a nap of 30mins every 3h; switch back to 270W;
If they react well, i will switch to more and shorter naps.
Smell is back, they are drinking a lot.
1. Watered with only PH-ed water at PH 6.0.
One plant run-off water is perfekt, other 2 have still a to high run-off of PH 7-7,2. EC is 1,1-1,4mS.
Used 1ml/L Flash-Clean to reduce built up nutrients.
2. Watering with nutrients this week.
PH: 6,2; EC: 1,6mS; Run-off PH: 6,4- 7; EC: 1 - 1,1mS; Only one plant is still at PH: 7,4; EC: 1,4mS.
The intermediate soil-clean stabilitized their constitution.
Back to nutrient watering, plants reacted immediatly.
Dying leaf rate is normal.
Buds are developing fine.
Cut out some non developing mini branches.
Dying leafs has stopped.
Buds are growing.
Smell is fine.
The plant with normal run-off has some brown spots on some leafs.
The other 2 plants still suffer from high run-off PH value.
1. watering with PH: 6,0; EC: 2,7mS; run-off PH: 6,6-7,3; EC: 1,7mS;
- One plant has still to high PH run-off if measrements are right.
2. watering with PH: 6,0; EC: 1,4mS; run-off PH: 6,3-7,3; EC: 2-3mS;
- One plant suffers high EC 3mS run-off, seems nutrients werent used by it.
- watered it again with PH 6,0; EC: 0,4mS for run-of will water, got it to PH: 6,8; EC: 2050.
I wont switch light schedule this week, as buds are growing normal and no signs of near death (drinking less water, yellowing leafs).
Some hair gets brown, most pistils are clear.
There are still clear trichomes, but some are already getting brown heads.
Dying leafs has stopped.
High humidity problems at night.
It smells for the whole flat.
Buds sizing slowed down.
Upstanding hair is less and most are already brown.
It still needs some time, some heads are getting amber, many milky, but still many clear trichomes.
One plant is ready, another one needs another week.
Thinking about cutting individual buds by their ripeness.
So also lower buds will get their full time.
Last week was some nutrient stress, this week only PHed water.
Did some dry stress and its smell got extraordinary.
1. watering: PH 6,1; EC: 0,6; 1,5ml/L FlashClean; 0,3ml/L CalMag; run-off: PH: 6,8-7,3; EC: 1,2-1,8mS; Still too high, but didnt change anymore after flushing up to 4l / plant.
Changing weather makes uncontrollable high humidity.
Found out my calfilter was used up, so that could be the rise in daily PH shift in my reservoir and my plants.
Normal drift was PH 0,2, last week i noticed a 0,6 PH drift per day.
Harvested some branches before they got too ripe. Now the lower buds also get some light for the end.
Only one watering without any nutrients for the rest of their life.
One get's a little more dry stress, just to see.
It was harvest time for one plant.
The others got flushed and i managed to get PH down to 7,2.
One plants needs a little extra calmag.
Last days before harvest.
Smell is fantastic.
Checking ripeness on daily basis.
One got her last watering and will be harvested when used up.
The other one will be kept for more amber heads to get one with more couch effect.
High run-off ph of 7,5-8, gave more PH 5,8 / FlashClean Water.
One changed the leaf color at the buds to purple, hope it is a good sign.
Corrected run-off to PH 7-7,2. Ripening process is going fast again.
The last one got some amber, so i am going to harvest.
Last days with a little patience.
Waited and checking buds the last days before harvest.
Nice grow. Learned a lot. Totally happy with the cloning results.
Started with 5 weeks of revegging. The clones already had buds.
So there were only 5 weeks of vegetation and 7-9 weeks of bud building phase.
Managed to reduce electricity cost by 25% with 12/1 veg light schedule and 11 to 9 hours bloom light schedule, with some breaks in the light schedule.
Made some more mistakes:
- forgot N/grow nutrients in blooming phase
- more lollipoping / cutting out lower branches getting no light
- too much light for 2 weeks
- flush too early for 2 plants, which caused slower ripening
Things i had problems with:
- high humidity in flower phase
- high run-off PH and EC values without extra nutrients, using Biobizz Allmix after repotting
- possible nute lockout due to high PH value in the soil/run-off
Totally nice smell, buds are frosty, taste was nice even before curing, cant wait to taste them in 3-6 weeks.
No probs with humidity or bud rot, but being dense.
Harvest was easy, a hand full of fan and sugar leafs per plant.
Total energy cost of 100€, additional 50€ for nutes and soil.
Stil have one mother to rerun this setup.
Smoke review in some weeks from now.
