Two weeks into this grow and it's been anything but ordinary! Germination went smoothly, but we quickly ran into a hurdle with light deficiency. The seedling's stem became weak and elongated, reaching for the distant light. But no worries, we tackled that head-on! We raised the light fixture and brought it closer to the seedling, giving it the boost it needed. To provide extra support, we've also used a simple hard wire to keep the seedling upright. This prevents the top-heavy leaves from weighing it down and allows the stem to strengthen. It's a good reminder that even with the best intentions, adjustments are sometimes needed along the way. This early challenge has highlighted just how important light is for cannabis plants. Now that the light situation is sorted, our seedling is bouncing back and focusing its energy on developing a healthy root system and strong new growth. We're excited to see what the coming weeks bring!
