Weeder_am_Start Let's get started with the test grow of the Medic Grow Mini-Sun 2 with 500W! In a 100x100cm, insulated grow room, I'm growing 2x Sensi Skunk and trying to fill the space as much as possible with various techniques. This week, I've first set up the homemade DWC system and planted the seedling. The DWC system consists of a 30L bucket, an Aquaforte air pump with 30L of air per minute, and 2x Aquaforte air stones with a diameter of 20cm. By the end of Veg week 1, quite a bit has happened, but check out the pictures! Weeder_am_Start The ladies have made a nice shot and by now they have been topped 2x. The roots have grown more than I ever expected. If this keeps up, they will become monsters.

Weeder_am_Start The ladies are currently growing a bit slower due to the training stress, but the side branches are still coming up nicely. Today I added more LST clips to train the ladies even wider. I think it will take about 2 more weeks in the veg stage before they can go into flowering. In the next run, I’ll probably try Super Cropping. That should speed up the veg stage a bit more.

Weeder_am_Start Veg Week 4... The Sensi Skunk have made huge progress under the Minisun-2. They are now just over 30 cm tall and have become real bushes. Today, I completely tied them down. As soon as the shoots have fully stood up again, they will go into flowering. I think that will be the case in about 2-3 days.

Weeder_am_Start The first week of flowering is over, and the stretch has fully kicked in. The bushes are going wide and are really thirsty. They're drinking almost 2 liters of nutrient solution a day now. The EC value is dropping significantly, so I believe I need to add a bit more nutrients. It went from 1.8 down to 1.3 in 3 days. I definitely need to react to that.

Weeder_am_Start The second week of the flowering phase is underway, and the plants are showing their best side. They continue to grow vigorously upwards and are making the most of the stretch. The daily water requirement is currently about 2 liters per plant – a clear sign of their increased metabolism during this phase. The first signs of flowering are still taking a bit longer to appear, but they should become visible in the next few days. Overall, the plants look very healthy, and the conditions for a strong bloom are in place. In the coming week, towards the end of the stretch phase, a targeted defoliation will take place. This will mainly involve removing leaves that block light, as well as lower shoots that hardly receive any light. This way, the focus of the plants will be directed towards the main shoots to get the best out of the bloom.

Weeder_am_Start The third week of the flowering phase continues to show excellent progress. The plants are thriving beautifully and are consistently consuming about 2 liters of water per day. The flower sites are slowly becoming more visible, indicating that the plants are in top condition. As the stretch phase comes to an end, I have done extensive defoliation. A lot of foliage was removed to allow maximum light access to the productive shoots. Lower shoots that had no chance of receiving light were also removed so the plants can concentrate their energy on the important flowering areas. The nutrient solution has been freshly prepared, with an EC value of 2.2 and a pH of 5.9. The fertilizer has been completely switched to bloom fertilizer and supplemented with some PK 13/14 to further stimulate flower development. Especially impressive is the root ball, which has become incredibly heavy and large – a sign of the plants' excellent vitality and their ability to efficiently absorb nutrients. All in all, the preparations for a strong flowering phase are going optimally.

Weeder_am_Start The fourth week of the flowering phase is in full swing, and my Sensi Skunk plants continue to thrive. The water consumption is consistently around 2 liters daily per plant – a sign that they are optimally absorbing and utilizing the nutrient mix. The flowering sites, which were recently small, have now developed into beautiful, dense little buds. It's impressive how quickly the plants are gaining mass while looking absolutely vibrant. Especially pleasing: The nutrient solution seems to be perfectly balanced. Even when the water level in the DWC system drops to half, the EC value remains stable and doesn't fluctuate up or down. This shows that the ratio of water and nutrients precisely meets the plants' needs. All in all, it looks like a promising flowering phase – the plants appear extremely healthy and robust. I'm pretty sure that some seriously fat buds are going to develop here! The combination of the Medic Grow Minisun2 500W and the DWC system seems to be a perfect foundation for this run.

Weeder_am_Start The fifth week of flowering is in full swing, and the buds are developing slowly but steadily. The plants are showing healthy resin production, and the aroma is becoming more intense. In the DWC system, the roots are vigorously taking up nutrients, which ensures stable growth. However, a dense leaf mass has formed again, blocking light and restricting air circulation. Therefore, there was another defoliation to better illuminate the flowers and prevent mold formation. The plants have quickly recovered and should now focus even more energy on bud development. The DWC reservoir remains stable, with regularly monitored EC and pH levels. Now it's all about continuing to observe, optimizing nutrient supply, and eagerly looking forward to the coming weeks! 🚀

Weeder_am_Start The sixth week of flowering has been reached, and the buds continue to grow, although not at the pace that Sensi would expect. According to the manufacturer, they should be slowly finishing now – but I can't say that yet. The flowers definitely need more time, and I'm counting on at least three more weeks until they have fully developed their potential. The trichomes are still completely clear, which is a clear sign that the ripening phase is not yet complete. While many of the pistils are already turning brown, without milky or even amber trichomes, harvesting is not yet on the table. In the DWC system, the pH and EC values remain stable, and the plants seem to be taking up the nutrients well. Now it's all about maintaining patience, observing, and ensuring that the flowers can still gain some mass. I'm curious to see how the next weeks will develop! 💨

Weeder_am_Start Autumn is slowly making its way into the grow room – and in an impressive way! 🍂✨ The Sensi Skunk in DWC is showcasing a stunning play of colors: yellow-green leaves frame deep purple buds, creating a real spectacle. A sight you won't forget anytime soon! The trichomes are developing well, but it's not quite time yet. A little more patience is needed before full maturity is reached. But with each passing day, the buds look frostier, and the anticipation for the harvest is rising! 🔥💨 Soon we'll be entering the final phase – stay tuned! 😎🌿
