First Grow Diary.
After having not too much success with rockwool, i used paper towel/peat pellet this time. By not having too much success i mean that my young plants had massive stunted growth due to the rockwool becoming too wet in the bucket.
Seed showed small root after ~36h, went straight into peat pellet.
1st week:
Seed put in paper on 04.11. around 48h later small root was visible. Did put in about 3cm clay in bottom of netpot, jiffey on top. From that point on i used 0,5ml/L mixture at 10ml twice a Day. Picture is from 10.11 with 2 small roots coming out the netpot. Prepared dwc bucket but left bigger gap from water to netcup to make sure this time to not drown the plant.
Light: 20% Height 35cm ~200ppfd (used Photone App with iPhone12)
My new RDWC System finally arrived. Had to dump my existing AK XXL but started a new one. Transplanting the other ones wasnt too easy. I did move them inclusive their netpots to Not do too much harm. I made my own nutrients from a NPK 4-18-34 and added Calcium nitrate and Magnesium sulphate. Coming from 0.45 EC to now 1.1
Big growth this week. Just checked previous week and couldnt believe. 8 days between last weeks picture and These ones.
EC is 1.6
Light at 65% 35cm from top of highest plant
Shes doing Good i think. RH is rising quite a Bit, will adress that soon. Tried some lollipopping.
The WW is absolute Fine, but my youngest shows some brownish dots on leaves.
We will See..
Not sure why she stopped stretching but Looks good overall i would say. Buds are getting bigger and Lots of Frost. Raised EC to ~2.2.
The Buds are very close to eachother. I am Not sure if i should defoliate more..
Got myself a jeweler's loupe. Still needs more time. Really sad she stopped stretching so early. The plant Front left is The First One i planted directly into this new rdwc. It is an Auto Ak xxl which is almost 4 weeks younger. The two in back are Jack Herers. Back left also stopped growing very early. As First grow i want to bring all of them through. Though, as this is rdwc i am Not certain how i could do a proper flush.
Lessons learned: Next grow will be all same strains planted at the same time
We are in the middle of the 10th week. During the defoliation I unfortunately discovered mold on a flower. I removed this immediately. Visually nothing was noticeable with the other flowers. Should i harvest to be safer or wait 1-2 weeks? The trichomes are milky, but not yet amber.
The akxxl on the front left shoots endlessly. from the ground with pot approx. 1.7m.
It is finally done. After drying for 9 Days i had my First trim today. Oh Lord i hated it xD. Scissors werde constantly glued up, same as my hands.
I was impressed, that I achieved so much out of this dwarf. A lot went wrong growing this Lady.
