GrowInBavaria Tag 1 – Orange President Auto by FastBuds (02.12.2014)
Today marks the first day of my Orange President Auto from FastBuds. A mix of Narcos Organic Mix and Narcos Coco Mix was used as substrate in a 50:50 ratio.
The soil in the final pots also consists of a 50:50 mix of Narcos Organic Mix and Narcos Coco Mix, which was additionally enriched with Living Soil from Love Living Soil (about 330g per 11L). After preparing the soil, it was watered and is now resting for 10-14 days.
For the mulch layer, Hugro bedding was used, which is 100% hemp.
Day 7 - 08.12.2014 Today, the plants were repotted into a larger pot (11 L). The substrate consisted of a mix of 50% Coco (Narcos) and 50% soil (Narcos), prepared with Love Living Soil (330 g per 11 L substrate).

The prepared medium had 10 days to settle and create an optimal foundation for the roots.
Currently, I’m measuring the moisture of the substrate with a soil moisture meter to ensure that the plants receive the optimal amount of water and to avoid waterlogging.
The plants now have significantly more space to develop further. I’m curious to see how they react to the move and will observe their development in the coming days.
GrowInBavaria 22.12.2024 - Day 21. The lamp is hanging at about 45 cm with 60%. Additionally, a Spiderfarmer SF 1000 was connected in series. Only water has been given without adjusting pH or EC values.

Unfortunately, the Orange President is showing some deficiencies. I suspect it might be a problem with Cal/Mag (Calcium and Magnesium), possibly also a nitrogen deficiency. Recently, I've been adjusting the pH of the water, and with every watering, I add Plant BoOoM SiCaMag.
Maybe one of you pros has an idea of what the cause could be and how I should proceed best. I appreciate your tips! 😊

In addition to the Cal/Mag, I also added Bloom and Grow from BioBizz, as I believe the plant is suffering from nitrogen deficiency. Furthermore, most of the leaves showing signs of deficiency were removed, as well as those covering the flowers.
Tag 42 - 12.01.2025
The plant continues to grow very well, but unfortunately, the deficiency still persists. However, I have the feeling that the leaves are becoming a bit greener towards the middle. I think I will add a bit more Grow and Bloom. Additionally, the plant was lightly defoliated again, and some shoots that weren't getting light were removed.

Unfortunately, the problems persist: spots on the leaves and many leaves turning yellow, especially from the outside in. I'm pretty sure there's a nutrient deficiency. Of course, one could counteract this faster with mineral fertilizers, but since I'm relying on Living Soil and don't want to destroy the soil life, I will continue with my current method.
I used TopMax and Bloom from BioBizz according to the schedule just once – maybe that will still have an effect. Additionally, I'm adding SiCaMag from Plant BoOoM. Many popcorn buds have been removed, as well as some complete branches that received very little light. I hope this doesn't lead to any hermaphrodites, as I was quite rough with this. 😅
Now it's time to wait and hope for a positive development!

Unfortunately, the issues are still increasing, and there seems to be no end in sight. I'm considering whether I should continue with the mineral nutrient schedule since I still have a complete line from Xpert Nutrients here. What do you think? Or should I just keep working with a pH of 6.5 and adjust Cal/Mag as before? It could also be that the pot for Living Soil is simply too small and the nutrients are depleted. Maybe I'm also making mistakes that I don't know about yet. :D

GrowInBavaria Tag 58 – 28.01.2025
After receiving countless different opinions on the possible deficiencies of my plant, I decided to ask ChatGPT 😄😄😄 what the best solution is now. Based on ChatGPT's recommendation, I used the Master Bloom from Xpert Nutrients in addition to my organic fertilizer.
Whether this measure actually has the desired effect will show in the coming days. During my next watering, I plan to follow the complete fertilization schedule from Xpert Nutrients, but only with half the dosage. This way, I hope to provide the plant with optimal care without over-fertilizing it.

GrowInBavaria It was only watered with about 3.5 L of water.

The Orange President Auto from FastBuds has brought me a lot of joy despite some challenges. The result is definitely impressive. Despite some minor deficiencies, I was able to achieve an impressive harvest – the buds are large and compact. When pressing the buds, a pleasant orange scent unfolds. Even though it’s not quite as intense, it adds a very nice touch to the overall experience. I’m confident that curing will bring out the terpenes even more.
