Report of week 9:
This week, autumn has fully set in, and one of the plants has developed a beautiful purple coloration. The leaves of the other two plants have turned slightly yellow, which is a good sign as the last nutrients are being drawn from the leaves into the buds. The flowers look excellent and are now in the final ripening phase. The main buds already have some amber trichomes, while the majority are milky, indicating a good level of maturity. On the side buds, most trichomes are milky, but some are still clear, meaning they need a little more time.
The buds have become extremely dense and have continued to gain volume. There is also a noticeable increase in resin production, giving them an even frostier appearance. The aroma has intensified as well—the main buds are starting to release a sweet, fruity strawberry note, while the overall scent is a strong and potent cannabis aroma.
Watering was done every three days with 3 liters during the first half of the week to continue flushing out excess nutrients. After that, the schedule was adjusted to 2 liters every two days. To further enhance ripening, both the frequency and amount of water will be gradually reduced in the coming days. The lighting remains unchanged at 100% power with a distance of 35 cm. The relative humidity is maintained at 40-45%, and the daytime temperature is stable at 25°C.
The harvest is planned for about 12 days from now, giving the plants enough time to fully mature and transfer the remaining nutrients from the leaves into the buds. This ensures that no residual nutrient taste remains in the flowers, preserving the full terpene profile and allowing the plants to reach their maximum potential—both in terms of flavor, aroma, and potency.
