Seed Germination Success: New Beginnings 🌱 I used the water glass method for germination. I placed the seed in a glass of water and left it to soak. After about 30 hours, the seed cracked open, showing the first signs of life—a tiny root beginning to emerge. Once the seed was ready, I planted it carefully into a 12-liter fabric pot filled with nutrient-rich soil. Fabric pots are great for ensuring proper drainage and aeration, giving the roots plenty of room to breathe and grow. Now, it's all about patience, light, and care as we watch this little seedling begin its journey to becoming a thriving plant. Stay tuned for updates on its progress! 🌱

Cannabis Growing Diary: Early August 2024 This week has been a mix of progress and challenges in my cannabis growing journey. On August 11, the seed sprouted and reached 3 cm the next day. By Day 3, it had grown to 6 cm, but I noticed signs of stretching, which can lead to weaker stems. To address this, I supported the plant with a small stick for stability. Growth continued steadily, and by day7, the plant reached 7–8 cm. However, I observed slight damage to one of the fan leaves, which I monitored closely. To prevent further stretching, I lowered the grow light by 10 cm, ensuring the plant received enough light to grow compact and healthy. While progress is promising, careful attention to light, watering, and overall conditions remains crucial for its development. Stay tuned for more updates on this plant's journey to becoming a thriving and healthy cannabis plant! 🌱

Cannabis Growing Diary: Mid-August 2024 The plant continues to thrive and grow steadily. By Day 10, it had already started developing its next pair of leaves, showcasing promising progress. This week, I began applying Low-Stress Training (LST) to encourage a more even canopy and better light distribution. It’s always fascinating to see how quickly the plant adjusts and starts growing back toward the light. This rapid response highlights its resilience and adaptability, making the training process both rewarding and exciting to observe. Looking ahead, the forecast predicts warm weather in the coming weeks, which may lead to challenges with heat management. I’ll need to monitor the environment closely and adjust conditions to keep the plant thriving despite the higher temperatures. Stay tuned for more updates as this journey continues! 🌱

Cannabis Growing Diary: Late August 2024 The plant is growing vigorously, showing excellent progress over the past week. Its response to Low-Stress Training (LST) continues to impress, with quick adjustments and consistent growth back toward the light. The development of new leaves is steady, and the plant looks healthy and robust. As the forecast predicted, the hotter days have begun. Temperatures in the grow tent reached 30°C once during the week, requiring careful monitoring and adjustments to maintain a stable environment. Managing heat will be a key focus going forward to ensure the plant doesn’t suffer from stress or slowed growth. Despite the heat, the plant continues to thrive, demonstrating its resilience. The steady growth and adaptation are encouraging, and it’s a reminder of how rewarding this process can be. Stay tuned for updates as I navigate the challenges of these warm days and continue to nurture this plant toward its full potential! 🌱

Cannabis Growing Diary: Late August 2024 This week, the plant’s growth seemed a bit stagnant in terms of height. Despite applying Low-Stress Training (LST) again to promote a more even canopy, the plant isn’t stretching upward as expected. While it adjusts quickly to the training by turning its leaves and stems back toward the light, its lack of vertical growth is starting to feel unusual for this stage. The weather has been challenging, with daytime temperatures reaching up to 32°C. While this heat has been a concern, I’ve noticed that the plant’s dense foliage seems to reflect its resilience. However, the height remains less than expected, likely due to the plant focusing its energy on coping with the heat and maintaining its structure. Excitingly, the week ended on a high note with the first signs of flowering becoming visible. This marks the beginning of a new phase in the plant’s development, and I’m eager to see how it progresses in the weeks ahead. With careful monitoring and continued adjustments, I’m optimistic about the plant’s health and growth as it transitions into the flowering stage. Stay tuned for the next update! 🌱

Cannabis Growing Diary: Early September 2024 This week, I adjusted the watering schedule after noticing the leaves beginning to shrivel slightly, a clear sign the plant needed more hydration. I increased watering to 1.5 liters every two days, and the plant responded positively, with its leaves regaining their vitality. In addition, I started lollipopping this week to improve airflow and direct the plant’s energy toward the upper growth and budding sites. By carefully removing the lower, less productive leaves and branches, the plant is now better positioned for efficient development as it moves further into the flowering phase. Despite the ongoing warm weather, hopefully, the combination of increased watering and pruning will at least help address the slowed vertical growth and keep the plant progressing steadily. Stay tuned for more updates! 🌱
