(1st auto grow) speedy gonzales

germinated 1/5/19 broke soil 1/7/19 no nutrients used except cal mag soil is nectar of gods #4 50%,perlite 30%,coco 20% 18/6 light schedule haven't used exhaust just 1 small fan and the hps light 600w so that humidity stays up 1 of 5 auto strains growing in a 5x5 tent this is my first time at growing autoflowers I have grown photoperiods a few years ago

week 2 developed leaves used 1 ml bio roots and 1 ml of cal mag turned on 2nd fan but no exhaust yet to keep humidity up still 18/6 light schedule 600w hps this is my first time at growing autoflowers I have grown photoperiods a few years ago

week 3 finally started using nutrients the temperature is high turned on exhaust been spraying foilage with carbonated water for co2 growing fast this strain so did a experiment and fimmed this auto with full success also put a wet towel and a few open containers to keep humidity up

starting week 4 of veg (day 29) increased the nutrients to 1/2 strength today growing fast been leaf tucking already a weak smell from this one still cant get my temps under 80 im thankful I got good air exchange with my exhaust for co2 so that the temps at 82-85 don't seem to bother it

hasn't kicked into flowering yet due to topping in many sites and defoliating the bottom but I expected that, this grow is to expirement not for yield raised nutrients to 50% strength with mininumal nuit burn at tips not enough to effect growth for being only week 5 and not flowering I cant already smell a skunky smell coming from the plant to my surprise I did my final defoilation today for here on out the rest of the grow will be no more butchering just watering and light adjustments this one is the shortest of all my plants but has the most branches and is 1 of 2 plants that are actually already stanking up the room,this one grows good imma get it agian

*day 40 1st week of flower,this is the shortest strain im growing due to topping many sights and defoilation so it was expected,just expirementing,also realized my 600hps bulb is over a year old so im not even getting close to 600w of light lol *this is also the stinkiest in my tent this and one other strain are the only ones has a smell to it *started flowering a few days ago and it has tons of bud sites so I hope it puts on the weight *switched over to flowering nutrients since the vertical growth has slowed to almost nothing,going to be one those short bushes with big buds if my guesses are right,has a hash smell coming from it already even with it only being in flower a few days *since the hps bulb is really old im going to lower my light tomorrow to 12 -14 inches see what happens... hope I can make it through this grow without buying new bulb till next grow

*week 7 did a heavy defolation on this speedy Gonzales, I know it will slow the grow but it was my last time defoliating this grow *the buds are starting to fatten up in week 2 of flower and getting tons of crystals more crystals then the other 4 strains im growing *still feeding half strength on the general organic nuitrients, from now till flush just letting the plants do their thing now *has had a weak smell to it since before pre-flower smell hasn't gotten stronger but hasn't gotten weaker either

this is a real good plant for a beginner took multiple toppings and was one of the first strains to harvest in my grow, this strain was the most smelly and best tasting out of all the strains I grew in my garden and that surprised me seeing as I got this as a free seed from the seedbank for having a big order,im getting this again just for the taste and smell not the biggest yielder but high quality smoke daytime perfect
