Germinated the seeds and worked on the grow closet (these will be growing in my bedroom closet)
The watering setup is two 5gal buckets with PVC fitted a half inch from the bottom of the bucket, with a P trap pipe connecting it to a shared 5gal reservoir with an air stone (one will be run to each bucket to be extra safe from stagnant water) and 2 pond pumps to deliver water to the base of the plant.
Nutrients added after wool placed into baskets on Day 4.
This week I am adding more nutrients to the reservoir. Nothing much else should happen this week as they establish their roots and get a little taller.
To compensate for my lack of vertical space (due to how I designed my watering system this time around, I will be training the plants to be as low to the bucket as possible up until flowering time with a SCRoG net!
Lost some pictures and also had to rebuild part of the watering system due to a leak in one of the buckets. Things seem to be running smoothly again.
12/19 - Topped plant
12/20 - Topping went well! I’m excited to see how these grow over the next week.
12/22 - pruned upper fan leaves to let all those little branches come up with no obs
New nutrients in the tank and we are into the last week of Veg!
12/25 - pruned more vegetation off to get more light to the joints. Trying not to take too much off but keep it to where it won’t be a problem for later trimming
12/29 - That’s a wrap for week 3! Next week the ScrOG begins and they go into flower until they are all big and ready!
This is my first time using a 4 week veg period instead of letting them Veg for 8 or more so I am nervous because they are so small but excited to see how the behavior and yield change!
We have officially entered flowering!!
Light schedule has been adjusted and I e got the screen ready for when the plants get juuuuust a tough longer.
Their water consumption has gone down over this week, this may be the first week I don’t have to refill the whole reservoir.
New week bigger buds! Almost halfway through flower!
One of the plants is a little behind growth wise so I decided to prune it more aggressively than the other plant to see what will happen
I’ve been fixing my car so I’ve been bad at uploading pictures. Flowering is in full swing and they are looking pretty! Just under 4 weeks left and then they should be ready to start drying!
