This is gonna be a kind of lazy but kind of interesting grow.
This will compare how different mixtures of living soil/ organic nutrients will hold up with only water added during the entire cycle.
The following abrev. shall be used from here on to identify the plants/pots:
- FLO , as the fertilizer/nutirent supplier used
- SC , as in SubCool, whose receipe for supersoil was used
- BM , as in BobrMarley 😎, eventhough it is actually a slight variation of SubCool's
FLO was mixed to about 10% vol (FLO makes up 1l out of 10l substrate)
SC and BM were mixed, so the amount of nutrients is more or less the same as FLO.
Grown in 11l fabric pots, bottom 3l is nutrient rich, the rest is blended down to a 3:1 ratio, so the seedlings won't be burned in early veg.
after the seedlings have settled in, in a week or so, I'll switch from manual watering, to the Blumat system.
and, just for the record,
the seeds were germinated between cotton pads and not paper towels, since I find them to better retain the moisture.

Pots are prepared with a small hole for the tap root to be placed in, surrounding area is sprinkled with about 1g of mycorrhizae and slightly covered with soilmix and sprayed to dampen the soil.
Seeds were placed directly into the final 11l fabric pots.
Lights running 18/6 @ 40% in 60cm

SC and BM had shed their seed shell over night, FLO needed a little help with that.
Little water around the seedlings and that's maintenance for today.
Besides the instant purple stems, coming along nicely.
