First Grow I Indoor I RS11 and Tropicana Cherry from Grower's Choice I 2x2 Tent
Seeds were placed in a paper towel on December 14th for germination. Both seeds sprouted successfully and were planted into the medium on December 17th.
Day 1:
The light was turned on at 6 AM, and the lamp was set to 20% light intensity, providing a DLI of around 14.7.
The soil was kept moist but not overly wet, and humidity ranged from 60-70%, with a temperature around 22.8°C.
Day 3:
Both seedlings are progressing well. The taller one has grown to 5 cm and is showing a slightly lighter green color on the upper part of the stem. The smaller seedling remains at 3 cm but has developed larger leaves. Light intensity was adjusted to provide a DLI of 17 for the taller plant and 16.6 for the smaller one. A gentle airflow is ensuring proper circulation, with the taller seedling showing slight movement from the fan. Overall, both are healthy and developing steadily.
Day 5:
About 2–3 hours after feeding them with 2.5 ml/L Terra Vega (pH 6.4, 200 ml per plant), the plants are looking great! One turned its leaves up more towards the light, and both are growing noticeably fast. The fan keeps them moving slightly, helping to build strong stems. No signs of stress or overfeeding, and they’re staying happy under the current light setup. Everything’s looking solid so far!
Day 6 - Christmas 🎄:
The plants are thriving after today’s watering, steady growth, no stress, and healthy leaves. Everything’s on track for a promising start. Wishing you a Merry Christmas filled with green vibes! 🎅
Day 8 - Start of Week 2
The plants are looking great! Since adding Terra Vega (pH 6.3), growth has picked up nicely, and the leaves are fresh and vibrant. Both seedlings seem happy and ready to take on the week. Solid start so far. 🌱
Day 15 - Start of Week 3
Week 3 is here! One plant is growing strong and steady, already 11 cm tall. The other had some trouble with compacted soil, so I had to carefully replant her. She’s back standing on her own, though her older leaves are still droopy. The new growth looks promising, so I’m staying hopeful. Keeping the care consistent and light levels steady for now. Let’s see how this week goes. 🌱
Day 17
Week 3 is in full swing! The RS11 is thriving, now standing strong at 12 cm with lush and steady growth. The Tropicana Cherry has bounced back from her earlier struggles and is showing vibrant new growth. Both plants responded well to the adjustment of raising the light to 50 cm and dimming it to 40%. Humidity is holding steady at 60–64%, with the temperature stable around 22°C.
Day 19
The RS11 stands strong, although two of its leaves are drooping slightly and touching the pot likely due to their weight. The rest of the foliage looks vibrant and healthy. Meanwhile, Tropicana Cherry has fully recovered and is catching up nicely. Pre-training for the SCROG setup is coming up soon, but feeling a bit nervous it’s my first time, and I don’t want to accidentally snap any branches or the main stem in half.
Day 21
Both plants are doing great! The TropCherry was topped today, and I'm starting mainlining from here. For the RS11, I'm just waiting for the 5th node to show up and grow a bit before I start gently bending and tying down the main stem to even out the branches. I'm keeping the humidity between 55-60% and have the fan set on level 2 to ensure good airflow. Looking forward to the next stages! 🌱
Week 4 is here!
The RS11 has been tied down early and is spreading out beautifully. The TropCherry didn’t skip a beat after topping, no stunt, just redirecting her energy to the smaller branches.
Humidity is steady at 55-60%, and an AC Infinity exhaust system with a clip fan is on its way. Excited to see how they progress this week!
Day 25
What a game-changer! 🌱 I’ve optimized my grow with VPD automation using the new AC Infinity Cloudline T4 and their clip fan. It’s now perfectly dialed in for day and night cycles, and the results are already showing. Insane growth overnight and over the day! 🌟
Updates:
TropCherry: Applied LST to the branches (Mainlining still ongoing). The structure is shaping up beautifully!
RS11: Topped and removed a large leaf to give more light to the smaller branches. She's bouncing back quickly.
New gear is working flawlessly, quieter, cooler, and more efficient airflow.
Day 28 - Week 5 is here!
The Tropicana Cherry has been watered with 3.8ml of Canna Terra, 2ml of Rhizotonic, and 2.5ml of Cannazym per liter of water. Two leaves were removed to open up the center and allow better light penetration. She’s been tied down for the final time to complete the mainlining process and is ready for the ScrOG net. Bloom phase is just around the corner!
The RS11 has been left untouched as she’s already grown wide and strong. Her structure is looking great, and she’s holding steady.
Day 31
The RS11 got a little TLC today! After a light flush two days ago, I gave her a gentle feed (2.5ml/L Terra Vega, 1.5ml/L Rhizotonic, 1.5ml/L Cannazym) to keep things balanced. Tied down all her branches, and she’s looking much more open now – ready to grow strong!
The Tropicana Cherry got some light LST to make space for the middle branches. Once she’s ready, the SCROG net will go up.
Day 36 - Start of Week 6! Flower Time ✨
Flower time is here! Switched to 12/12 and the RS11 and TropCherry are ready to shine. Lights are now at 100% and 36 cm playing it safe to see how they respond. Can’t wait to watch the buds start stacking! 🌿
Day 38
The ladies are stretching and drinking more water now! I followed the nutrient schedule with:
Terra Vega: 4.7ml
Rhizotonic: 2ml
Cannazym: 2.5ml
Cannaboost: 2ml
This mix resulted in a pH of 5.9 and matched the recommended quantities perfectly. The humidity is steady at 50% with only a ±0.8% variation. Both plants are thriving and starting to take off through the net. Excited to see how they’ll bloom! 🌱
Day 42
The RS11 is pushing hard into bloom! Flowers are slowly forming along the stem, and her purple branches are really standing out now. Her top leaves are slightly lighter than the lower ones, likely from the rapid bud development. She’s stretching well and filling out the net nicely. After a slight overfeeding issue, I flushed with pH-adjusted water for two days, and the new growth is looking perfect again.
The Tropicana Cherry is taking her time but still making progress. She’s gained some height and is finally starting to stack her flowers. A bit behind RS11, but she’ll get there!
The tent is looking lush, and the scent is picking up. Excited to see what the next days bring! 🔥🌱
Day 44 - Start of Week 7! 🌱✨
Raised the TropCherry to match the RS11's height. Light is now at 37-38 cm. Both recovered well from defoliation and are focusing energy on the top growth. Back to full feeding, no more signs of overfeeding. Everything’s on track! 🚀💚
Day 48
Both are still stretching! 🌿 RS11 is showing clear pistils now, looking great. Did some light LST and removed a few leaves for better light.
Tropicana Cherry is super bushy 🌳, so I trimmed some leaves and opened up the middle with LST. A few small pistils are showing, but not many yet.
Overall, they’re growing strong!
Day 52 - Start of Week 8 🌸✨
Both girls are doing great as we enter the third week of flower!
🌱 RS11 – She’s stretching nicely and stacking up well. One branch is really reaching for the sky, standing out way above the others! She’s now at 56 cm and still going strong. Bud sites are developing beautifully, and some frost is already starting to appear.
🍒 Tropicana Cherry – She’s staying a bit more compact but looking super healthy! Top-down view shows her structure filling out perfectly.
So far, no major issues. Just keeping an eye on the environment and making sure they get everything they need. 🚀
Day 55
RS11 has stopped stretching over the last 32 hours, while TropCherry is still pushing upwards. Unfortunately, my RS11 turned out to be a hermie, with several pollen sacs appearing. Luckily, they weren’t developed, and I carefully removed all of them. The TropCherry also had two sacs, but nothing too crazy. I’m keeping a close eye on them. First grow, so I gotta document the good and the bad! Let’s see how they turn out.
Day 61 – Week 9, Day 2 🌿
No more hermie issues since I cut off the sacs! Both plants stopped stretching much and are putting all their energy into fattening up those buds. Switched both to bloom nutrients. Had a little mix-up and got Aqua Flores A & B instead of Terra Flores, but hey, it’s working just fine!
