I would like to know how many days from when the bean broke ground. I don’t think you have overwatered the one in the fabric pot in fact in the current picture it appears to be on the dry side. What medium is that? Coco and perlite? Definitely too dry! What is the other seedling trying to grow in? Black beans?! Look I am by no means a expert when it comes to growing cannabis though I do have a good deal of experience growing other plants as I have worked as a greenhouse manager for years with a company in Florida that was on five acres. All soil grown medium so entering the world of growing in coco coir is new to me. With that said I am on a hunt for knowledge but something that is trustworthy. I have found a couple of good podcasts online, YouTube, instagram. One is Garden Talk with Mr. Grow It,Daz the breeder of Night Owl is on instagram, a guy who grows pound producing autoflowers goes by the name of “Autopotomus “ because he grows mammoth autoflowers using Autopots, clever. As for understanding lighting you can find online Dr. Bruce Bugsby from the University of Utah. Hope this helps. Happy gardening.

Night Owl strawberry popesicle, sweet!!! So your first grow, exciting!!! I’d like to ask a few questions. What is your plan after germination. Grow medium, pot size, watering method, nutrients you plan to use , your light you will be using and light schedule you plan to use. ? Why germinate this way with autoflowers? Usually it’s best for autoflowers to pop the bean right into the pot you plan on taking her to harvest in. This is because of fast growth and they don’t have much time to recuperate from being stressed like there photoperiod cousins. Be super careful when planting the sprouts, tap root pointing down making sure to leave plenty of room so you don’t damage it, then it only needs covered about a quarter inch and watered with ph balanced water (6.0-6.5) with a hand held spray bottle. Your girls first few days are very important and will take your most attention. Remember this number one mistake OVER WATERING. Not so much in the seedling stage as they do need to be kept moist and warm not WET. I like to cut the bottom five or six inches from a two liter bottle and use it for a dome to help keep the seedlings from drying out. Light and seedlings, too close and you risk the chance of burning them, too far away and you get a seedling that will stretch towards the light and the stem will be thin and fragile. Get a grow seedling light and and don’t worry about it. No NUTE’s yet!!! Happy gardening

@sanibelisl, hey sorrybtook so long to reply. Im using the spider farmer g8600 in a 5×5 tent. Nutrients ill be using is cronks Bonnie & Clyde wich is meant for autoflowers. Right now im on day 8 with 2 plants dwc and 2 in 5 gallon fabric pots. Im only running the light at 20% wich i think is around 200 watts.

Hey, just would like to make a suggestion for a really good but inexpensive grow light for seedlings and it’s available at Walmart and Home Depot. It is made by a company called, Feit, and the light is their- 8 inch round 32 watt adjustable spectrum clamp style LED grow light. This light is awesome when it comes to seedlings and it really makes it easy for anyone to grow seedlings without much guesswork. Blue spectrum @100,000 cct(k), par efficiency of 1.7. Perfect for seedlings! It has six more spectrum combinations that gives really good control over the right light for all growth stages. I have four of these lights and have harvested autoflowers coming at cured weight of over four ounces of premium bud. I believe they cost under forty dollars per light. I will continue to use this light for my seedlings as it just has been so remarkable for super healthy plants. They also make this light in a full spectrum only so be careful to not to get that one, you really want the blue spectrum for your seedlings. Happy gardening.
