Royal Queen Seeds - autos

Week one done and over. Thought they would have gone a bit bigger, but I have transplanted to bigger pots as I previously needed soil. Westland Houseplant - Not used before so I'm proceeding with caution...

19-01 The Corkscrew Auto looks like how the name implies 😆 very funky. Fat Banana Auto has 'fat' wide looking leaves. Both taking well to the new soil. It is meant for mature plants, but no problem so far.

26/01 - End of week 3 Been an awesome week seeing the difference in the two, CORKSCREW AUTO, has a small mutation but its very cool in my opinion. Twin middle finger on one of the fan leaves, looks perfectly symmetrical too. Again no issues with the soil. Loads of thunder flies coming from somewhere so been battling them away. Not coming from the plant pots, nor are they hovering in masses in the tent, but they are persistent. Yellow sticky tabs picks most of them up along with a swift wipe of my hand. Fat banana Auto, well,, looks like a chubby lil indica 😁 Both plants doubled in height with the fat banana being a cm taller. All is well here in the wasteland.

02.02 end of week 4 Nothing much too say, happy I've got no problems so far. Fat Banana has doubled in height and has a slight earthy smell. Corkscrew a bit shorter, I'm not worried. No aroma yet. No signs of flowering...yet Any suggestions are welcome Roll on week 5

09/02 I see why the Corkscrew is named as such, The main sten has a slight twist allowing the arms to stretch round next to each others side making a decent spread of top bud sites... I like it. The Fat banana has shot up in height, has great colour and seems to be the one that has a weak smell, especially when the humidity is up. Quickly filled the tent and now touching the sides, wanted to see these in natural growth, so no training as they are the first time growing this strain. Thanks for watching 👽 peace

17/02 Fat banana, 78cm... Can't move the light much further up! Ha Not much too say at the moment otherwise. No problems so far Both seem to be coming into flower a bit later than I expected, but I'm not bothered. Defoliation of a just a few fan leaves and aroma is getting slightly stronger from both. Corkscrew 46cm has a nice short height and even canopy with no training given, cool structure. That's all this week 😎👍

23/02 Fat Banana is at 94cm tall now and with only a distance of 17cm to the light. Not much else to say. Yellowing in the leaves, mostly the lower older ones, at first I was worried about too much nutrients, but instead have given a bit more as they are hungry so it seems. Corkscrew is only at 50cm, but nice n bushy. Shorter yet maybe the bigger yielder of the two.

Was away for a week so missed this entry putting in today 09/03. Still alot slower to flower, may have some nutrient issues or I'm just impatient. With training I would have got a bigger yield but this was just a 'see what happens' run. Happy flowers...

09/03 Love the look of the corkscrew and fat Banana is tall, just needs to fatten up Going with the flow Not much to say... Feel free to comment or give advice. Update: 10/03 Got my tapo plug working, so now I can control my extraction fan via app with timed on/off ect. I will eventually upgrade my temp/humidity monitor. Placed a couple of small dehumidifier boxes in there which also seems to be helping. Watered - 1.5ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino in 1 ltr tap water Peace 😎

16.03 Getting there slowly, but surely. Corkscrew Auto - 67cm Fat Banana Auto - 120cm Growth being held back by lack of light when in the tent or nutrient deficiency/lockout. Having a little bit of leaf tip burns and yellowing. Fed with 1ltr plain water each, was a dark run-off. Next feed (today). With lowered concentration of flower boosters. Not much else to say, except to wait for the girls to fatten up as much as they can in the next 2 weeks then see where we are at

23/03 (Day 77) Fat Banana Auto sitting at to 120cm. Good fruityish aroma - a lot of yellowing in the older leafs and burnt tip curling on the new leafs I think I had the pH messed up and caused a nutrient lockout, not much I can do this late except flush and wait.. Brought a pH tester for next time. Only have a one100w LED so I added another LED light (kocheal 300w) I originally had to boost flowering, I like it as it has built in fans, but could be a little quieter. Corkscrew Auto is 67 cm Hasn't got a strong smell, but she has got some sort of aroma and she has handled feeding better than the Fat Banana, although it was fairly low organic nutrients anyway. They have both definitely gotten a bit fatter, but i don't think they will get much denser 🤞🏻 Time will tell, till next Stoney Sunday peace 🏻

30/03 Mass defoliation Lovely unexpected sherbet aroma!... I could just eat a nug, but I didn't. Chopped and hung her upsidedown in the tent darkened with plenty of airflow. The structure was awesome considering I did no real training. I'm guessing i just gone a slight mutation maybe.. because others I have seen have the standard top cola still. Not that it bothered me. Will come back with update on how she smokes 💪🏻 thanks for reading. PEACE I would recommend giving this one a try at least one

31/04 Chopped her down standing 120cm tall And took a bit longer to pre flower which led me to wait longer for real bud growth, but again my own fault for not doing the correct pH checks. Hard to pin point the aroma which seems to be the flip on what I was saying about the Corkscrew Auto. Doesn't help iv been run down so I can't really smell alot ATM anyway. Was fun to grow - Thanks to Royal Queen Seeds and Grow diaries, will definitely grow again.
