Quick One & Special Kush #1 (Royal Queen Seeds)

DeGoudenKwekers 6 days ago, we germinated our seeds via wet kitchen roll-method. All of the seeds germinated succesfully.

DeGoudenKwekers they all germinated nice and fine. All of the seeds survived and they began to grow!

DeGoudenKwekers the plants have many internodes and the stem is still small. The leaves are looking very healthy. The humidity has gone up from 40% to 45%, because we put a little bowl of water inside the growing tent

DeGoudenKwekers We accidently gave the plants a 24h-schedule, but we thought it was 18-6 (oops). But now they are growing very quick and the internodes are very close to each other. They get nice canopy of leaves. We want to raise the ground and change the light schedule to 20-4, so the plants won’t hang as much as they do now (they must be very tired 💤🌙).

DeGoudenKwekers Week five, the last week - we think - of the vegetation phase. Today, we raised the soil and we defoliated the plants. Gustavo is going mad and has an outrageous growing tempo in comparison to the other plants.

DeGoudenKwekers On the first day of week 5, the plants began to form their flowers and they are doing a great job with the growing of it. Thereby, today I changed the light schedule from 20-4 to 22-2, because the temperature in the tent is now 17 degrees celcius and that is no good. The plants didn’t need to recover after the defoliation. Maybe we could cut more of the leaves off. We will be doing another defoliation in a week or two.

DeGoudenKwekers The plants are flowering very well! Nice 2 see ☺️☺️

DeGoudenKwekers They are gaining the juice that the tops need! Only one of the four plants is not in the flowering stage yet, bc it is the other seed.

DeGoudenKwekers I think that one of the plants is a male one. Very low chance, but probably the case. The plants don’t look influenced by it fortunately. In a couple of days we can dry the first plants.

DeGoudenKwekers We gave our babies no water for four days and this is what’ll happen then. No panic, tomorrow they’ll be fresh again. However, not that good for them. The production of ripe trichomes is getting longer than expected.

DeGoudenKwekers The plants been growing way longer than expected. Maybe because of the male one that is been sitting there (we might put ‘em out of the box). We - again - forgot to gave them water. it were six long days for the plants, but they’ll survive. Thereby, the tops are looping very nice. Some tops have the good amount of brown trichomes, but not all of them. loveee

DeGoudenKwekers They are taking way longer than they said that it would be. One of the plants is almost ready to harvest after almost two weeks of drying. Tommorow we will start to dry one other plant that is currently in the box!

DeGoudenKwekers All the plants are drying right now. The Special Kush #1 is ready to harvest. Plant no. 1 from ‘Quick zone’ (who were not so quick) needs only one week to dry and no. 2 will need two weeks.
