This is the 3rd week since I transplanted the clones, they are really starting to grow fast in the last 2 weeks. I seem to have fixed the nitrogen deficiency, I now notice they might have a slight magnesium deficiency. I am going to give them a good foliar feed with cal mag a few hours before lights go on and up the ppm. These are heavy feeders. Flipping tomorrow after feeding them.

This last week has gone well since switching to flower. They are still growing strong. One plant was growing faster and one plant was growing a little slower, I took the small one out of the tent for space. These 3 seem to fit the tent good. I did a little bit more suppercropping and LST. I slightly upped the ppm. I have to keep raising my lights daily. They are realy starting to fill the space.

The plants are growing aggressively and really starting to bud fast. This is the 2nd week of flower. I'm having to water them about every 2 days. I kept my ppm the same this week as the plants look healthy and growing fast.

Starting week 5 of flower. The buds are developing nicely. I have added a bloom booster to the feeding this past week. The buds are getting really heavy, I had to add a trellis net, they started to fall over. I did some light defoliation to open up lower bud sights, mainly just some of the bigger fan leaves.

They may swell slightly more, which will add a bit more weight, but not normally too much after week 5/6. Depends on the plant, I have had a few just keep fattening till they're done. Mostly maturing to come. It's like you have an orange tree full of green oranges, it won't grow many more, but the ones that are there will swell and go from tasting terrible and bitter to being sweet and juicy. Plant mass is not half as important as resin mass, often tiny high quality flower has more resin than huge fat colas, so size isn't that important IMO... unless you're selling, then G's = $, but better G's = better $ :P

Week 7 of flower, everything is going great. I cut the nighttime temperature down to 18c and they are starting to show some colors. I cut the ppm in half and stopped the bloom booster. I might give them one more small feed and then just water for the last couple feeds. They are very thirsty, drink almost 3 gallons every days.

Happy Harvest Day!

The final harvest turned out good, got 2 pounds from the tops and another half pound from the rest of the lower bud around 1.6g per watt. This strain smells amazing. I dried it by the branch in 5 days and then trimmed it up and is now curing. My largest top bud came in at 11.6g. I'm happy with the results for a strain that's not known to be a heavy yeilder.

What booster have you given them? Week 5 on an 8wk flower is the main wk. There's a 5 day window 3wks before harvest.A lot of bloom boosters are for 2wks 4-6 to catch that 5 day as it can be hard when you don't know the strain. You bloom booster wants P Phosphorus and K Postassium.P gives extra energy and K helps to build cell walls if I remember right. Some boosters are just stimulants though and some have massive doses of P AND K in it like 9/18 or 40/50 even.It can effect the finale outcome.Too much can spoil taste.Big bud for advanced is mild and made for cannabis through trials and tests and theirs is only 1/3 so don't over do it.Shit it good for P and ash for K,pot ash.I use guano for P and its sold as a taste improver. The old saying goes, without the bat the taste is flat.So this is the week to do it.

I use GROTEK Monster Bloom 0-50-30 at quarter strength. My total ppm is just under 800ppm.

Interesting growing method! If I do another grow in my 120x120 tent, I would do it also with four plants in 50L+ pots. Why did you decide not to top the plants and have at least two big stems? Best of luck to you!
Crimsonkush
Crimsonkushcommented2 months ago
There was originally 4 plants but they took up to much space so I moved one out. I did top at the beginning once and then bent them over and used lst and suppercropping into first week of flower. Bigger pots is definitely the way to go, less watering and more room for the roots.

@potcracker7, it's a fun strain to grow. It handles suppercropping very well.
