I trimmed some of the excess foliage that was creating shade on the lower branches of the canopy. I stretched some of the lateral branches away from the main stalk, and tied them to the sides of the pots. The plants are filling in the empty spaces nicely. The White Chem growth pattern and habit have left almost no need for trimming, tying, or leaf tucking; it is the easiest to manage. One of the Strawberry Nuggets specimens has not entered into the flowering phase with the rest of the garden. This specimen is only 8 inches tall, but the diameter of both the main stem and the lateral branches is the same as that of the 20" specimen. The lateral branches have also failed to grow in "length", the plant reminds me of a cabbage the way it has grown on top of itself. (Maybe it inherited photoperiod genes and I will be able to clone it?) It seems to be healthy; so, I will apply "patience" and see what happens.
