Hey Growmies,
this will be the first time for me using Living Soil, a bigger bed, live worms eating away on my scraps and a automatic watering system.
Used to be loyal to BioTabs for quite some time and they work wonders, don't get me wrong, but I wanted to go down a more "sustainable", engaging route that gives me a bit of leeway to disappear for a week or two while not having to worry about watering. I will try to make this as much of a only-water-run to prove a point to myself (and also a shit talking, liquid mineral feeding friend who thinks Living Soil is a hype hahaha).
This will be a first try to get a repeatable method for reliable results with minimum amount of work. I'm talking 2-3hrs / week at max - including watering, training, light adjustments, whatever jazz is needed. Want to make it easy for friends / people in general by giving them the trust in a method they can see working 1st hand.
In the long run I want to make this into a perpetually growing bed with 2 or 3 plants in different stages of flowering - I really like smoking different varieties and this seems like a good, rather cheap long-term solution to that without using much space and other ressources... if I can make it work.
All the hardware, as well as substrate is ordered and will hopefully be done cooking early-mid february. So stick around, watch me screw up and learn as I do with the added benefit of not facing my consequences :D
