First Auto Party: Fastbuds Zkittlez & Apricot

02.02: Soo, die Pflanzen wachsen, aber leider hat es die Purple Lemonade nicht bis zur Keimung geschafft. Schade. Aber super von Fastbuds dass sie mir Ersatz schicken, top Service! Dann kommt sie in die nächste Runde. Sonst tun Pflanzen was sie eben tun: wachsen. Unter den 30W Anzuchtlicht scheint es ihnen gut zu gefallen und ich freue mich auf meine ersten ersten Auto-Lauf ----------- 02.02: Soo, the plants are growing, but unfortunately the Purple Lemonade didn't make it to germination. Too bad. But great of Fastbuds to send me a replacement, top service! Then it will go through to the next round. Otherwise plants do what they do: grow. They seem to be doing well under the 30W grow light and I'm looking forward to my first auto run

8.2. Nicht viel passiert. Die Damen legen jetzt los mit dem Wachstum, wobei die Zkittlez doch ein gutes Stück schneller unterwegs ist als die Apricot. Dafür hat sich dann auch erstes für die Streckbank qualifiziert. Kann mir noch nicht so recht vorstellen, dass ich in ~6 Wochen langsam ernten kann. Aber wir werden wie immer sehen. Spannend bleibt es! Die Purple Lemonade hat nicht mehr keimen wollen. Dafür schiebe ich in etwa 2-3 Wochen eine Gorilla Cookies Auto nach. ------------- 8.2. Not much has happened. The ladies are now starting to grow, although the Zkittlez is a good deal faster than the Apricot. But the first one has also qualified for the stretching bench. I can't really imagine that I'll be able to harvest slowly in ~6 weeks. But we'll see, as always. It remains exciting! The Purple Lemonade no longer wanted to germinate. Instead, I'll add a Gorilla Cookies Auto in about 2-3 weeks.

Wie zu erwarten ist die Zkittlez nach wie vor deutlich schneller als die Apricot und das wird wohl auch so bleiben. Finde ich aber nicht schlimm, dann nehmen sie hoffentlich nicht beide zur selben Zeit viel Platz im kuscheligen Zelt an. Langsam ist die Apricot dennoch nicht, wenn ich sie so mit meinen anderen Grows vergleiche. Ansonsten habe ich der Zkittlez ein paar Fächerblätter abgenommen um den Seitentrieben mehr Platz zu verschaffen. Die wächst echt ohne Ende. Werde jetzt noch die nächsten Triebe runterbrinden und sie dann ab Topfrand in die Höhe wachsen und in Ruhe lassen. -------------- As expected, the Zkittlez is still much faster than the Apricot and will probably stay that way. But I don't think that's a bad thing, hopefully they won't both take up too much space in the cozy tent at the same time. Nevertheless, the Apricot is not slow when I compare it with my other grows. Apart from that, I removed a few fan leaves from the Zkittlez to give the side shoots more space. It's really growing without end. I'll now bind down the next shoots and then let it grow upwards from the edge of the pot and leave it alone.

Nachdem ich mich eine veg. Woche überhaupt nicht gemeldet habe, komme ich nun mit froher Kunde im Gepäck zurück: Die beiden Damen haben beschlossen zu blühen. Finde ich gut. Ich habe während des Grows schon einiges gelernt und würde manches anders machen. Ganz oben steht meine LST Technik. Das nächste mal binde ich die Pflanzen nicht so früh runter ODER Mainline sie. Das Problem gerade mit der Apricot ist ihr gedrungener Wuchs der sie mich nicht so erziehen lassen wollte, wie es bei der Zkittlez gut geht. Sie wächst jetzt etwas durcheinander, wird aber trotzdem ein paar schöne Buds produzieren, da bin ich sicher. Und jetzt will ich bald mal ein paar Buds sehen! --------------- After not getting in touch at all for a veg. week, I'm now back with good news: the two ladies have decided to flower. I think that's good. I've already learned a few things during the grow and would do some things differently. At the top of the list is my LST technique. Next time I won't tie the plants down so early OR mainline them. The problem with the Apricot right now is her squat growth that wouldn't let me train her the way the Zkittlez does. She's growing a bit of a mess now, but will still produce some nice buds, I'm sure. And now I want to see some buds soon!
