BrokkoliFarmer The lamp is running at under 25% power, and after a few days, the first real leaves appeared.

BrokkoliFarmer In the second week, we got right into it. The OG Punch was topped after the second internode. Topping is an HST (High Stress Training) method and is used to increase the yield.

BrokkoliFarmer Week 3 and all the ladies were topped after the second internode. To reduce plant stress, I added some Root Complex to the watering. After topping, the branches were pulled down with the help of stakes to keep everything at the same height. By now, watering is done every third day.

BrokkoliFarmer Week 4 and the ladies are doing great. The LED is already running at 80% power and the plants are handling it like it's nothing. The energy is only being put into the shoots for nice colas. I keep the shoots down low until they reach the edge of the pot and then I let them grow up so everything has enough space.

BrokkoliFarmer Week 5 and the ladies are slowly getting really bushy. The shoots that grow downwards are removed, and only those going left and right are left. From week 5, I also started using the complete growth nutrient range for fertilizing.

BrokkoliFarmer Week 6 and the ladies are doing well. I'm fertilizing twice a week now. The pH value in the watering water is always at 6.2, and I'm playing around a bit with the temperature of the watering water to stress the plants. In between, I'm removing the leaves that aren't getting any light.

BrokkoliFarmer Week 7 and the growth phase is coming to an end. The OG Punch was topped again after three weeks to keep it at the same height as the other ladies. Let's see what effects that has. You can also see with the OG Punch that it's slowly developing the so-called Cal/Mag problem, which is typical for growing with strong LED technology.

BrokkoliFarmer Week 8 and I've started the flowering period with 12/12. The flowering nutrient palette was mixed according to the manufacturer's fertilizer schema and poured into the medium. For the OG with the Cal/Mag deficiency, I've now ordered an extra solution that should fix the problem. I'm curious to see if it helps. I'll keep you updated.

BrokkoliFarmer The second week of flowering has begun, and the ladies were given Cal/Mag from 420Flow, and I have to say it has helped! The ladies look healthy, have put on a good stretch, and no other foliage shows signs of Cal/Mag deficiency. The solution is mixed in with every watering. Nutrients are given twice a week according to the feeding schedule.

BrokkoliFarmer So my dear friends, the third week is almost done and the flowering is in full swing. According to the nutrient plan, Phosphor Plus is meant for week 4, but since plants need more phosphorus during flowering to form proper colas, I thought: okay, I'll add half now and from week 4, I'll use the specified amount. The Cal/Mag problem is somewhat contained and is progressing more slowly, but I won't be able to get rid of it completely. The pH value has been further lowered and is now at 6.0 for optimal phosphorus uptake.
