I do not have a ton of pictures from this grow, but it was an extraordinary learning experience and I wanted to share with everyone else as I am so grateful for everyone else sharing on this platform. I have learned so much from everyone else and I want to contribute back.
This was my third grow. Four of my plants were re-vegged (after harvesting the buds only I returned the plant to a 18-6 light schedule) for the second time (germinated July 2023, harvested and re-vegged November 2023, then harvested and re-vegged March 2024). Three additional plants were fresh starts on 4/1/24. All seven were seeds I germinated on damp paper towels inside a Ziplock bag.
You can see from the pictures that the four re-vegged plants were rather small prior to my second harvest 3/9/24. Growing four plants under a 65w grow light is too low of a light intensity–honestly, it’s too little light to even grow one plant well.
Obviously there are plenty of people that have made this discovery before me, and there are tons of controlled studies published online that clearly document that increases in light intensity increase plant biomass and yield. To quote one such article, “...dry inflorescence yield increased linearly with increasing canopy-level PPFD up to 1,800 μmol·m−2·s−1…” And 1800 umol was the highest intensity for this experiment, therefore cannabis might respond well to even higher light intensity.

Therefore, with my limited budget, I decided to move to an outdoor grow in May as the light intensity from the sun is way higher, and free.
