Spring '25

2/8/25 - Counting today as day one of veg but still deff seedlings. They will stay in the solo cups until transplant into the diy earth boxes I have made out of 12 gallon totes, I'm estimating each earthbox will hold about 9 gallons of soil and will be using a cover for the soil when transplanting. This is gonna be an all organics run using promix hp, worm castings and perlite as my medium and using Gaia green amendments. Light right now is at 350 ppfd and just light watering with a spray bottle right now. Gonna let them dry some and will do a bottom water to let them drink what they want. Working on getting a weekly time lapse set up 2/11/25 - watered the plants today as the top soil was getting dry. A solo cup filled with soil weighs 189 grams so I watered the plants until they were at 220grams

2/18/25 - Watered plants until they reached a weight of 220 grams 2/19/25 - Just transplanted the plants into my DIY Earthboxes. The soil mix consists of ProMix HP, worm castings, and perlite, enriched with Gaia Green dry amendments. I applied Mykos directly to the roots and the transplant hole for better root development. Since the soil was already moist from filling the container i didn't water. To help retain moisture and reduce evaporation, I placed a trash bag over the top, cutting an X in the center to feed the plant through. 2/21/25 - watered about a liter of plain water from the top to moisten the soil. water was ph'd to 6.5

2/24/25 - Gave them 1 liter each from the top with fermented plant extract at 1tbsp per gallon of water and then fill the res with a little under 2.5 gallons all PH'd at 6.0, added a small heater outside the tent to raise the temp inside a bit. The girls are starting to take off in growth over the last couple days after transplant. I leave for vacation in 4 days so lets hope the homemade earthbox works. 2/27/25 - Leaving for vacation first thing in the morning so i will be doing a top water tonight at about 1 gallon per plant and they will also get the fermented plant extract at 1tbsp per gallon. then i will be filling the res with water until full, plants tops have been tied down for some LST and branches have been tucked but ill just have to let them grown for the next week. No one will be taking care of the plants so hopefully the SIP last for the week, if not they will get a nice dry back and get watered once i return.

No real updates, was on vacation all week. Got one picture of them this week but they seemed healthy all week so I wasn't real worried. They had some major growth this week

3/9/25 - Got back from vacation and the plants got HUGE! Went from 5 inches to over 13 inches in 1 week so the SIP system definitely worked. The needed a major defoliation and of course I forgot to take a picture before I started. The light was also way to close of that week I was gone, it was probably 6-7 inches above the top of the plant and it looks like they started getting some light bleaching towards the top. I lifted the light and they are now at 530 ppfd. I filled the reservoirs this morning as they were dry with plain water PH'd at 6.2. The defoliation went smooth, the Purple Ghost Candy had some massive leaves measuring 7+ inches. I also added some training clips on some branches and will probably trellis a little later this week as well as top dress here in a day or two with 2 tsp per gallon of soil to start and see how the plants react, may have to go to 3 tsp per gallon. That's going to be 18 tsp then I will add about .5 inches of worm castings over the dry amendments. 3/10/25 - Topped with some dry amendments and worm castings and just covered it back 3/11/25 - top watered 1 liter each, with some fermented plant extract @1 tbsp per gallon, just to help with the nutrient break down 3/12/25 - Scrogged the tent, will be checking and adjusting regularly to get it to look nice, this is my first scrog so we will see how it goes. 3/16/25 - Reservoirs were empty so i filled them with water which seems to be lasting me an entire week right now. added 5 tablespoons of fermented plant extract to the water and PH'd to 6.5. After this lights off my flowering schedule will start, lights will be at 750 ppfd with their height now. VPD will be set at 1.4 Did a heavy defol before the switch to flower 3/21/25 - Gave 1 liter each of water with fermented plant juice for bloom @ 1tbsp per gallon and gave a nice light top watering. This was PH'd to 6.5

3/23/25 - Today marks the start of week 2 of flower. I top-dressed the soil with Gaia Green 2-8-4 at 2 tablespoons per gallon of soil, Gaia Green 4-4-4 at 1 tablespoon per gallon, and worm castings at ½ cup per gallon. I watered with 1 liter of water, pH’d to 6.6, mixed with 1 tablespoon of fermented plant juice per gallon. Light is at 740 ppfd.Everything is looking good as the plants continue to transition into flower 3/25/25 - added water to the reservoirs today. PH'd to 6.5 3/29/25 - Filled the reservoirs because they were bone dry. Plain water PH'd to 6.2

3/30/25 - start of week 3 of flower. I have been defoliating larger leaves and leaves blocking bus sites here and there throughout the week since her growth is exploding and will do a heavy defoliation in a week at day 21. I top watered with FPE of my bloom at 1tbsp per gallon of water and PH'd the water down to 6.5 3/31/25 - My humidity kept rising in the tent and i couldn't get it down under 60% RH even with my lung room at 32% RH so i decided to do a large defol to help air circulation 4/1/25 - Filled the res with plain water PH'd at 6.5, it was real dry and between the both they took an entire 5 gallon bucket. I'll have to start checking the res every few days to see how thirsty these girls are 4/4/25 - Top watered about a liter and a half each with FPJ. Reservoirs are almost empty so I'll probably need to fill them tomorrow. I got a battery powered siphon from Amazon to make it a little easier since the trellis and canopy get in the way of the PVC 4/5/25 - filled the res with plain water PH'd to 6.3. Tomorrow is day 21 of flower so will be defoliating again probably pretty heavy but plants are looking nice, Ive been keeping PPFD around 850 while in flower

4/6/25 - Day 21 of flower, started today with a nice defoliation. Fuel DO.G is right into flower and PGC is lagging behind some. PGC looks like she is just starting flower while FDOG is well into flower 4/9/25 - filled the res with plain water PH'd to 6.2. PGC is starting to get more pistols while FDOG is still ahead. PGC is still stretching while FDOG is done 4/11/25 - Top watered 1/2 gallon of water with FPE and did a large defoliation removing alot of smaller branches and undergrowth along with branches that were lagging behind in size 4/12/25 - Res was empty so i filled with plain PH'd water at 6.2

4/13/25 - Start of week 5 of flower, Purple Ghost Candy has caught up to Fuel D.OG in height, bud development PGC is still behind while FDOG is progressing well and starting to swell. Today they will get top dressed with Gaia Green Power Bloom 2-8-4 at 3 TBSP per gallon of soil, I will be adding 27 TBSP or ~400ml. I will also be adding some worm casting at 1/2 cup per gallon of soil, so i will do 4.5 cups or 2.25 solo cups (Solo Cups is obviously the best unit of measurment)
