Strain
FYI: The plant was her prettiest in Week11. So don't miss this if you (like me) most of the time mainly check the harvest page! :)
I had a lot of fun growing Tropical Tangie. It's almost too vigorous, but if you get over the constant defoliation and watering needs, it rewards you with very dense very smelly nugs. A LOT of nugs!
I initially bought this strain because I wanted something straightforward orange-y fruity. And while at the start of flowering it smelled exactly like that - towards the end the smell shifted. To the orange peel smell there joined a very pungent dark roast coffee smell (to my nose). A good friend of mine even called it "burnt rubber".
Now as that smell has permeated through the "airtight" polypropylene containers like no strain before, i have kind of fallen in love with it!
To me, the high is strong and relaxing. Almost sedating - first time i tried a larger amount I caught myself after a while staring at my PC monitor doing (and thinking) nothing. Nothing at all. Very serene.
