I dropped seeds in water for a few days until I saw a decent taproot or start of one and then placed them in a jiffy pellet and in a humidity dome under my shelf T5 seed/clone system. I’ve read good things about this strain and I’ve been looking forward to growing this plant for awhile. She will have a tent partner to grow into a healthy SCROG and I hope to reap a bountiful harvest!
I had to start a third seed. I used a different germination method and soaked in URB for 25 min, then put in a jiffy pellet. This appears to start a much healthier sprout than the soak in water method.
Day 17: I harvested my other tent and now these babes are ready for a springtime SCROG!
Day 18: I decided to transplant to 1gal so the stems would have better support and start a better root structure. It was a little earlier than I normally would, but they are behind a bit from where I wanted to be, so I figure get the roots going in a better soil environment.
Day 26: she’s very much enjoying her new 1gal home. Huge growth in the last week. I’ve also kept watering to a minimum this round to make sure I don’t over water. I rubbed the stalk today and she smells delicious already!
Day 28: topped her down leaving 4 nodes (counting the first set of single-fingered serrated leaves).
Day 32: She’s responding well to her new 7gal home and is growing like a weed now!
Day 35: LST round 1! I’ll let her grow for a few days and do the second topping.
Day 46: did some more LST tie downs to spread the canopy. Just a few more weeks and back under the screen!
Day 50: I already had to tie them back down a second time. They are growing like crazy now!
Day 53: the plants are getting super bushy. I’ll be installing the screen soon and letting them do their thing for a few weeks before flipping.
Day 57: after adjusting the LST for a few days, it was finally time to install the screen. I’ll let them do their thing for a bit before flipping.
Day 67: FLOWER TIME!!!! This healthy beauty is surprising me with many lower branches reaching up and becoming bud sites to fill up the center canopy. I sometimes have a hole in the center of the canopy and I think my somewhat major defoliation of most fan leaves under the canopy is really helping with better light penetration. Any fan leaf not getting direct light, or if it was blocking a potential bud site, it was removed. Looking forward to this stinker over the next 10 weeks!
Day 74: the flowering stretch is underway and I’m happy to see many of the smaller undergrowth reaching tall for the light and should turn into some nice buds!
Day 81: starting the third week of flower and the tent smells amazing! I mean skunky! 3/4 gallon every other day seems to be keeping them happy. Early flower nutes. The front portion of the plant didn’t stretch like the rest, but everything will be just fine in the end. Only 7-8 weeks left!
Day 83: I defoliated today and cleared out all the leaves under the canopy that weren’t getting light an a ton of fan leaves on top of they were blocking buds.
Day 89: into the third week of flower now and they are really flourishing! I’ll be defoliating some more later this week. The tent continues to increase in aroma and really smacks me in the face when I open the tent. I’ve had to raise the light to accommodate the stretch. Pistils are forming and things are getting exciting!!
Day 95: The tent continues to smell better and better! The buds are definitely underway now and the excitement continues to build! Still watering 3/4 gal every other day with a water/feed schedule.
Day 102: the buds are well underway now and everything is Iooking and smelling great! It’s been very rainy here and my humidity is higher than I’d like, but the plant seems to not mind at all. With plenty of airflow, I think I’ll be ok.
Day 109: wow wow wow! The stench in the tent is absolutely amazing! There is so much resin even on the leaves. Just moving and tucking leaves leaves my hands extremely sticky! Only a few more weeks left!
Day 116: Entering the 8th week of flower now and she is packing on the trichomes. There is so much glistening goodness, even on the leaves! Only a few more weeks now. Trichomes are still clear with no cloudiness yet. I upped the MammothP from 2ml/gal to 4ml/gal. I should have been at 2.5-3ml, but I forgot to increase the dosage. Feeding EH late flower nutes this week.
Day 123: I'm starting to finally see some trichomes turning cloudy. Not enough to be in the harvest window, but getting close! Beautiful plant and smells amazing! A couple more weeks to go!
Day 125: Upon further inspection, I believe this babe is ready for flushing! Definitely some amber going on now and I plan on chopping in a week from now.
Day 130: I did a big flush on day 127 and got the runoff ppm's down below 300ppm. I was flushing with pH'd 147ppm water (well water) and I suspect the residue in the collection pan is bringing the ppm's up a little. I fed 1ml EH nutes for final flushing and will be giving water only until I harvest on day 136/137. She smells absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to get her dried and cured and smoke some of this amazing looking strain! Almost there!!
Nice looking plants .... I just got done harvesting a Northern Lights Auto and a AK-49 Auto myself, now awaiting harvest for my White Widow Auto, check them out if you can, I wish you success with rest of your grow and ...... HAPPY GROWING !!!!
Beautiful grow. Thanks for showing. Did you do anything in late flower to bring on the purple? I have no purple in my ss and wasn’t sure if temp change is what you used or just genes. Great harvest 😎
