Day 10 from seed. Seeded in a peat pod, in a smaller pot containing Sunshine Soil #4, Myka microculture, and a small amount of worm castings. I am transplanting in about 3-4 days.
Day 18 from seed. Everything looking good. I transplanted to its large final pot, roots looked a-okay. Waiting for an oppourtunity to eventually tie or top this plant.
Day 25 from seed. I bent the stem and am using LST. I fed Miracle Gro 24-8-16 All Purpose plant food. Everything going according to plan and looking good!
Day 31 from seed. This plant is looking good, especially the stem. It absorbed lots of nutes so just water lately. I’m letting it chug along before ant major defoliation. And I’ll begin tying down branches as they get taller.
Day 38 from seed. Just trucking along. I am going to have to defoliate again at some point, and I am prepping to continue tying branches down. I may top the one sticking straight off the top.
Day 53 from seed. LST is working well with this one. Unlike number (II), Hash Plant (III) is still nice and green. Just water lately and then there will be more food.
Day 60 from seed. Everything is going okay although I feel this plant is just on the fringe of where Hash Plant (II) headed. I can see some discoloration on some leaves. I defoliated this plant just to thin it up a bit. The plant food I am using at this stage is 24-8-16 Miracle Gro All Purpose.
Day 67 from seed. Like Hash Plant (II) this one is going downhill. There is an imbalance somewhere, and based on my other grow I suspect it may be excess (of Potassium). I am planning a good water flush to try and restore this plant. I recently fed 0.1-0-5 Earth Alive Big Blue Alga Liquid Seaweed.
Day 74 from seed. This is similar to my other Hash Plant but not quite as progressed because I caught it. I bit the bullet with both plants and majorly flushed the soil (five days ago) in an effort to regain control and reset it a bit. I will be back to applying my typical veg. feeding after it dries out. The lower the leaves mat have gotten worse, from lack of nitrogen, but the tops may be stabilizing. Just trying to be patient and not overfeed/overreact/overwater. I have around 5-6 weeks of veg. to play with.
Day 81 from seed. Though this plant did not get to the brink as badly as Hash Plant (II), I would consider this a comeback for Hash Plant (III). I was losing leaves fast and it was looking the same (perhaps too much Potassium?), I majorly flushed the soil and let dry ten days. This plant dried out more in the ten days than (II). I top dressed the soil with sunshine soil #4, worm castings, bone meal, and pulverized egg shells for some slow release. I fed it 24-8-16 Miracle Grow All purpose food. I believe there is some green starting to show again! It may be on the comeback trail and ready to flower in four ti five weeks.
Day 88 from seed. This plant is recovering and should be good to go as planned, albeit a bit stunted. I will be moving this to the flowering tent in about three weeks. I repotted to a much larger container to help promote growth, using Sunshine soil #4, sheep manure compost, worm castings, pulverized egg shells, bone meal, and alfalfa compost (a rich, light mixture). To account for the overcrowding issues of many clones to be gifted out of frame, and other plants ready to flower, I lowered the plants in my veg. tent. Apologies for the subpar photos as the overcrowding effected this.
Day 96 from seed. What a comeback... this plant has a great underdog story. Just water lately as she stretches her roots in the new pot. Repotting to fresh soil was key. I’ll probably wait three weeks to flower her, the last rotation in my flowering tent. I did crush some branches trying to take pictures in the tent so she looks a little droopy.
Day 103 from seed. This plant will be flowered in about two weeks. What a comeback, and a nice lush green. I don’t know what to expect from this plant. I haven’t given any food because I repotted with rich soil.
Day 110 from seed. One more week until I shift this baby to the flowering tent. It has fully recovered from all the early life damages, and with repotting to a massive container this plant has been in overdrive. The fan leaves are most impressive. Just water to use up the nutrients and I will apply some food once the tent move has been made.
Day 117 from seed. I have now moved this plant to the flowering tent. I recently fed 18-18-21 Miracle Grow Tomato food with a dip of blackstrap molasses and Earth Alive Big Blue Alga. A bit over nuted going in, I noted slight claw and twisted leaves. Overall fine, lots of lush green. Here we go! Eight week flower period.
Day 124 from seed. One week of flowering complete, seven weeks to go. Should be hitting stretch now. This plant is getting overcrowded by larger plants. No issues lately (given its up and down history).
Day 131 from seed. Two weeks of flowering complete, six weeks to go. I recently fed 18-18-21 Miracle grow Tomato food with a dip of Earth Alive Big Blue Alga and blackstrap molasses. Stretch is almost complete and the buds have formed. A smaller, more stout plant than my others. I moved my thermometer and am finally getting canopy readings, wow its hot! I have to monitor that.
Day 138 from seed. Three weeks of flowering complete, five weeks to go. The buds are very pronounced and starting to swell. This plant is gaining momentum. I have started 2-7-7 Shultz Cactus food with a dip of Earth Alive Big Blue Alga and blackstrap molasses. Just starting to get a sweet/hashy aroma off the buds.
Day 145 from seed. Four weeks of flower complete, four weeks to go! This plant is still lush and green. It has taken all nutes like a champ. Most recent feeding was the last of the 2-7-7 Shultz Cactus food, with a dip of Earth Alive Big Blue Alga and blackstrap molasses, that it will get. Next up is Alaskan Morbloom. The buds are actually quite large, up the stem, and the pistils are very white and aplenty.
Day 152 from seed. Five weeks of flowering complete, three weeks left to go. The leaves are still nice and green, the buds have so many white pistils. Lots of good smell being emitted. I have started into the 0-10-10 Alaskan Morbloom with a dip of Earth Alive Big Blue Alga and blackstrap molasses. I will look to transition to water in the final two weeks.
Day 158 from seed. Six weeks of flowering complete, two weeks to go. It will get the last plant food tomorrow. The pistils are quickly turning orange. The main buds are massive! The leaves are only starting to use up the green.
Day 168 from seed. Seven weeks of flowering complete, one to go. In fact, because of the late update, less than one week until harvest! I’m so excited, these buds are puffed and massive. Beautiful, long pistils. Lots of orange mixed with white. This may be the best of its generation.... it gets to say “hi” to the incoming girls before its exit. Just water.
Day 172 from seed. Eight weeks of flowering to go, it is done! Ready to be put into darkness and then harvested. This is just a last look, and a sloppy entry at that. Look for a nice harvest update soon....these buds are massive!
I’m telling y’all, other than seedlings cannabis plants are almost virtually unkillable. Time and water solves almost any problem. The only truly vulnerable stage seems to be when they are seeds/germinating/seedlings. Even most dead, browned, dried, clones twigs will regrow in time. Its strange that a disaster plant turned out so well after healing, damage doesn’t really seem to really effect genetics at all (of course), and any scar tissue can be removed and cut away.
I repotted and I think the new soil, nutrients, and balance was helpful. When I dumped the container I was surprised to see the root zone still contained to the circular shape of the previous pot, it had filled its last pot out much less than I expected. To be clear, I did not give enough time to fill the big pot, but I only saw a few tendrils throughout the new soil.
This is my personal best yield and its potent, so I am super pumped. I’ve enjoyed gifting this one and seeing their reaction when giving the review.
