So I didn’t like the autos, didn’t yeild well or produce good quality if I’m honest. Scrapped the fertilisers off and gone organic, absolutely loving the results. Using my own mix of soil consisting of three different types of medium and the plants love it!! By far healthiest plants I’ve grown and not one single hiccup so far always been lush vigorous growth from first transplant. Chosen to go from cuttings this time and I’ve chosen Lemon Zkittle from @dutchpassion, Tony from Dutch Passion also go in touch with me and was kind enough to bless me with 5 Bubba Island Kush and 5 Meringue all on the house too, these will be for the next run but so far Dutch passion are in my good books nothing but a pleasure to help out and run these for them. I’m using 2 organic feeds at the minute, a root stim and a grow plain and simple and it’s working faultlessly. Will be using a tea here and there too. Good to be back!
After some LST, topping and supercropping these girls really took well to the stress. Released some growth hormone doing this and it definitely shows. Pictures show the girls over a 5 day period after there training and you can clearly see the difference! Medium is working wonders plants just continue to be strong and healthy great growth especially to say there in soil I’m really impressed with my mixture and also the B.A.C range. Can’t recommend it enough.
4th day in flower here, plants have doubled in size since a week or so ago. Once again very nice healthy colour to the girls really impressed so far, not a hint of stress shown from the plants at all, very hungry the soil is becoming dry everyday they just take everything I give them.
Still no fuss from the girls. Looking very nice and tidy in there. Still got some major size to pack on with plenty of time left. Temps and RH are bang on. Got a good feeeling about this one
Smell is really starting to come on now, really citrusy and fruity smells amazing. Most branches are falling more and more each day that goes by and they are super dense. Dare I say it as dense as you’d expect with PGRs but this grow is organic so no chance they’ve been used. 5.5 weeks in at this stage so got plenty of time to pack on the size too. Till next time
So we are 7 weeks in now, all the buds are looking really well but a couple plants are concerning me! They seem to be a little less dense than they were a week ago, I’ve checked for webbing at the stem in between buds but can’t seem to see anything and they smell like sweet lemons still so I’m sort of counting out any kind of rot. The plant is right in front of the fan and a little out of the light so it may be that. I might have to rearrange the plant for a week see if that helps. Going to start a flush now as I’ve had them on 11/13 all way through so hopefully that will of sped up the flowering process quite drastically. I just hope I’m not shooting myself in the foot letting this plant go another 2/3week be causing major issues tho far down. If anyone would like to chime in all is welcome good or bad I’m just looking to improve my game. I’ve spent a lot of time on this crop and gone fully organic because I feel there’s too much shit going into these plants PGR wise how are we as a county ever going to legalise if the weed is full of crap and causes health issues. So ide like to get to bottom of it ASAP. I’ve topped and trained the shit out of these plants so I have numerous colas per plant so they arnt as big as say a single cola plant. It’s got me scratching my head!!
So we are 8 weeks +1 day here now, around 8 days into flush and 6 days away from chop. I’m guna cut these at 9weeks so they will probably get another 2/3 heavy waters and then 48hours of darkness. Really starting to pack on weight now I had to support all branches as much as I could with bamboo and garden ties. I sampled a bud I took when I first started flush at around 7 weeks and it was so smooth and creamy. Real nice fruity and zesty taste to it. Smelled of fresh lemons with a hint of grapefruit. High wasn’t heavy as expected being so early but certainly felt a relaxation effect 1 hour after smoke so really excited for finished product. Just counting down the days now!!
Just harvested last night so will come back on in next couple of week to review!! No estimates on yield as yet. But the smell is definitely pungent lemon and sweet smell. Can’t wait to try the end product!!
Very nice group of girls mate, keep up the good work and as always happy growing! Those buds are starting to pack nicely and look very dense too! UK represent 🇬🇧✌️
@UKLEEDSGROWER, yeah definitely man and for a z it's usually around the 100 mark but I haven't bought weed in a long time 😂 and hey man I would totally be down for a Colab, I would love to do some type of UK meetup with all the UK growers on here but because of how "risky" our line of work is I don't think many would want to risk it, who knows I could be an undercover 🐖😂
@G4NJAG4NG, £60 a gram that is mental. It’s 60-70 for a 3.5 round me for supposedly Cali. It’s all U.K. grown PGR riddled weed if you ask me, some of it is proper Cali but it’s hard to find a decent plug. What’s price on U.K. z’s round you? Breeding from what I know is fairly straight forward, find a female and a good male, pollinate and then grow the beans find a good pheno and then cross again with the male. Then feminise it by stressin em. I could be wrong but it’s somewhere along them lines. Never know could do a colab somewhere down line 😉
@UKLEEDSGROWER, yes that strain is fire, top shelf coming from UK! And bro I've seen Cali being sold at £60 a gram 😶 wtfffff!!!! And that's always been a dream of mine too! I've always wanted to make my own cross genetic! Actually learning about the subject rn! Best of luck to you, keep an eye out for those fire pheno's!!! 😁Best of luck!
@DutchPassion_Official, thanks a lot guys! I was lucky enough to be contacted by Tony at DP and he sent me some bubba island Kush and some meringue to test and I have just popped them a couple days ago. Will be making a new diary on them shortly as asked by tony. Can’t wait to try some new strains too, I would of liked to try a good variety and picked some keepers. Great products from great people 👊🏻
Hey man they all look gorgeous, I lost a third of my crop to bud rot when I was first starting out, was a real bummer but lesson for sure. Worse thing is it starts inside out so can be very hard to catch at the right moment, I don't think it is bud rot however as normally the smell of bud changes and if it's got good airflor and humidity is in the okay range you shouldn't sweat it, sounds more like it's just not getting as much light as the others. Keep an eye on it but I'm sure its all good ✌️
@G4NJAG4NG, cheers bro. Yeah I fully checked the plants in question at the stem and no signs of webbing and bud smells nice and sweet no rot smell. It was right in the corner so I moved it round under a light and seems to be densening up nicely. Starting flush today and chopping it at 9 week on 11th. Super gassed about it
Nice work, looks very professional.
I planted one of these seeds today, planning to make it a motherplant and get clones from it.
Very nice to see the strain here in such professional action. Definitely Followed.
@inkogniroot, Cheers pal I have thrown myself into this one and gave it my best shot so that means a lot mate thank you. They respond really well to LST and topping so don’t be shy with her shes a very hardy plant! You need any info mate just give us a shout!
3 quick questions 1.did you use the recommended amount of terpinator? 2.do you really believe that it helps with the smell does it make a difference? 3.and when you added it to the water did you add it with the nutrients in the same container or did you add it separately?
@ChefGreenThumbGardenofWeedin, sorry for the late reply mate! I used 20-30ml per 10l depending on how I felt at the time through veg and early flower and I upped it to nearly double that by mid/late flower. I noticed a difference in smell but nothing major. I have only ever grew this strain once so I’m not sure on what difference it made should of done a side by side really. I always follow the same technique which is water always first and then add nutrients amendments to the water. Mix thoroughly after each nutrient and then ph and adjust accordingly without ph up or down. I use plant magic bio silicon as ph up so there is no chemical in my feed whatsoever. BAC organic grow brings ph down too. Organic all the way for me the quality is second to none. Any more questions mate feel free to ask.
