PatienceIsKey CalMag. I’ve decided to add a very small amount of BioBizz Grow, but only every second watering. I want to keep the ladies a bit hungry, especially since they’re autoflowers with a naturally short lifespan. Less is more, but I’ve learned that it’s better to start feeding a little earlier rather than too late. Of course, the new seedling hasn’t received any BioBizz Grow yet.
To improve conditions, I used a fan and a water tray to raise the humidity to 40%. It’s not perfect, but it’s a step in the right direction. As the plants grow and take up more water, the humidity should naturally increase during the vegetative phase.
My SF-4000 is dimmed to 40% and hanging 75 cm above the plants. So far, they seem to like it! The plants are growing well, except for one seed that never germinated—I couldn’t even find it anymore! 😂 I planted a new one, and it shot up quickly.
Despite less-than-perfect conditions, I feel good about this start. I knew it wouldn’t be easy, which is exactly why I chose Northern Lights—they’re tough as hell!
I truly wish from the bottom of my heart that you all succeed in giving your ladies what they need. Keep your heads up! #UntilItWorks

PatienceIsKey In week 3, I decided to give my plants some mycorrhiza. However, it seems that it was a bit too much for #3. The plants are showing excellent growth, and I’m only watering with CalMag-adjusted water. My soil appears to be more heavily pre-fertilized than I initially thought..

PatienceIsKey In week 4, #3 still looks like the myco inoculation took a bit of a toll on him—he has too much nitrogen. Otherwise, everything is the same as in week 3, with just CalMag and pH-adjusted water. Overall, though, the growth is quite remarkable. My 450-watt LED is hanging at a distance of 50 cm and dimmed to 50%. I measured with a laser, and the leaf surface temperatures are perfect (vpd looking good).
Im also in week 2 with the same NL Auto seed from Zamnesia. Funny that we have the same thoughts regarding timing, Soil and nutrition :) I will follow your grow. Good to have reference. Only the best and let it grow.
